African Airborne Plague Case
Fatality Rates Run 7% To 20%

Hello Jeff  -  The case fatality rate for the Plague outbreak is a bit difficult to determine.  Those with airborne Pneumonic Plague have been reported to have a case fatality rate of 19.23%  I also see case fatality rate at 7% which I assume is Bubonic non air borne Plague.

I would estimate the fatality rate for the airborne plague at about 20% or higher - depending upon where the patient is located and their proximity to medical care and medication.

It is quite possible that the hike in CDC  and Military medivac planes could mean that either the military is taking ill or we are bringing Plague patients here and treating them at US military base hospitals

I sincerely hope we are not bringing Africans here to treat them in the US.  You know they will refuse to leave the US once they are deemed cured.  We still have Ebola refugees here almost 2 years AFTER they were told to leave the US for home in Africa.  You would think they were grateful that we took them here, gave them free lifesaving medical care and they pay us back by refusing to leave. I say hog-tie them and throw them on a plane back to Africa and make sure they never come back here again.  That is MY opinion.

Ungrateful savages.
