The NYT Promotes Ousting Trump |

| The Times may get its wish, ignoring the seriousness of ousting a sitting
president, unprecedented in America if it occurs. Reasons given for his unfitness to serve are phony, legitimate ones largely ignored, the same ones true of his predecessors, notably high crimes of war and against humanity, along with transforming America into a plutocratic police state. The Times and other media scoundrels support America’s deplorable agenda - nary a discouraging word ever uttered against US imperial wars, other than at times post facto, too little too late when it doesn’t matter, virtually never before they’re waged or while ongoing. Trump bashing is relentless, an orchestrated plot to denigrate, weaken, and oust him from office - media scoundrels leading the campaign, abandoning any pretense of legitimate journalism, something they eschew on virtually all major issues. The Times: “With each day, President Trump offers fresh proof that he is failing the office that Americans entrusted to him.” “The rolling disaster of his presidency accelerated downhill last week (by) sow(ing) racial strife, (failing) to denounce Nazism, (and) defen(ing) white supremacists, (showing he lacks the) fitness to occupy” his office. Fact: There’s plenty about Trump to criticize legitimately. I’ve written numerous articles slamming his policies, I’m sure more to come. Fact: Instead of accurate reporting, The Times deplorably distorted his comments. He justifiably blamed both sides for Charlottesville violence. He tried to calm things, not “sow racial strife.” Fact: He “condemn(ed) in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence. It has no place in America,” adding: “Racism is evil, and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant…” He didn’t try “to split Americans apart.” He condemned “hatred, bigotry and violence.” He’s no saint, far from it, his tenure so far pockmarked by deplorable actions, continuing what his predecessors began - notably aggressive wars, supporting monied interests over popular ones, his anti-environmentalism, and unacceptable immigration policies, notably banning travel to America by Muslims from designated countries. The problem isn’t him. It’s America’s deplorable system, its plutocracy, not democracy, its imperial madness, its media functioning as press agents for power - bashing Trump largely for the wrong reasons, not the right ones.
