NYT Disinformation on Trump Jr.’s Emails

The Times is an unscrupulous lying machine on issues mattering most, a disgrace to the profession of journalism, especially anything to do with US aggression, Russia and Trump.

On July 11, its editors turned truth on its head, headlining “Donald Trump Jr. Makes the Russian Connection.”

Fact: No connection was made or exists, not now or earlier. Times editors maliciously lied, part of their anti-Trump jihad for defeating Hillary, their favorite, providing press agent services during the presidential campaign.

The Times: Trump Jr.’s “emails confirm what the president, his son and others have denied repeatedly for more than a year: that top members of the Trump campaign met with representatives of the Russian government in the expectation of help in damaging Hillary Clinton and getting Donald Trump elected.”

Fact: False!! They reveal nothing of the sort. Malicious Times’ lies can’t change cold, hard, facts. No Trump team meeting(s) with Russian government representatives occurred for any reasons related to the presidential campaign.

The Times quoted publicist/tabloid writer Rob Goldstone, claiming “a Russian government lawyer had ‘offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.’ “

It ignored him saying he had no knowledge of Veselnitskaya’s connection to the Kremlin because she’s a private citizen, not a government operative.

The Times: Trump Jr. met at Trump Tower with the Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, who has connections to the Kremlin.”

Fact: False!! She denied it. So did Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

The Times maliciously lied, accusing Trump Jr. of “multiple conflicting accounts” about what happened in his meeting with Veselsitskaya. His email exchanges and account of what they said explained otherwise.

The Times: “Donald Trump Jr. appears to be in real legal jeopardy. Federal campaign finance law prohibits political campaigns from soliciting any ‘thing of value’ from foreign nationals.”

“By that standard, Mr. Trump’s acceptance of the offer to see Ms. Veselnitskaya certainly looks bad.”

Fact: During his meeting with her, no information on Hillary or anything else related to the campaign was discussed.

Fact: No documents of any kind were passed from her to him.

Fact: No evidence of Russian interference in the presidential campaign exists.

Fact: No US law prohibits its citizens or residents from meeting with anyone anywhere for personal discussions, a First Amendment right.

Fact: No collusion occurred during Trump Jr.’s meeting with Veselnitskaya, no connection to Russia’s government.

The Times is a national disgrace, mocking what journalism is supposed to be.
