Voters Educate The Elected

Last week I was at our state capitol in Austin, Texas. I was there with my dear friend, Thelma Taormina, Founder & Chair, We The People Are The 9-12 Association, Inc., in Houston and Steve King, Founder - Texas Tea Party and the Tea Party Movement. Steve has been active at the state level for the past 30 years and has helped me understand how things are done in the Texas State Legislature since I'm a California transplant. Like Steve, Thelma is on a first name basis with many state representatives and a few senators because that's what grassroots activism is all about. Personal contact with those state reps while they're in and out of session.

We went to the capitol to speak with representatives about various issues. In particular, one thing I did discuss with a state rep I've worked with on an unrelated issue is the 'smart' grid. The grid that is not smart. The day it gets hacked will make hurricane Sandy look like a blip on the screen. There will be no ATM machines to get money for food, no gasoline pumps working; it will be a nightmare beyond comprehension for tens and tens of millions of Americans who have no idea what the 'smart' grid is or how they have been made vulnerable by greedy corporations:

Hacking Expert David Chalk Joins Urgent Call to Halt Smart Grid - April 12, 2012

"100% certainty of catastrophic failure of energy grid within 3 years unless course is changed"

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The vulnerability of the energy industry's new wireless smart grid will inevitably lead to lights out for everyone, according to leading cyber expert David Chalk. In an online interview for an upcoming documentary film entitled 'Take Back Your Power', Chalk says the entire power grid will be at risk to being taken down by cyber attack, and if installations continue it's only a matter of time. “Unless we wake up and realize what we're doing, there is 100% certainty of total catastrophic failure of the entire power infrastructure within 3 years.”

“We're in a state of crisis,” said Chalk. “The front door is open and there is no lock to be had. There is not a power meter or device on the grid that is protected from hacking - if not already infected - with some sort of trojan horse that can cause the grid to be shut down or completely annihilated.”

* Life After An EMP Attack: No Power, No Food, No Transportation, No Banking And No Internet
* Government wakes up to EMP threat
Feds move to protect U.S. from nature's version of catastrophic weapon
* Chinese hackers have control of US power grid

Putting the entire United States under one umbrella is incredibly stupid. If anyone thinks the incredible inept bunch of bureau-rats in Washington, DC., know what they're doing, they should think again. I was happy to find out Texas is independent. Those of us who have researched the 'smart' meter disaster know without question those meters are tied to Agenda 21 and so is the 'smart' grid. It is the big link in the chain and it's not good for America.

While I was there, I visited the offices of six house members about a particular gun bill that has been introduced. None of the reps were in, so I spoke with their staff. It's a nice feel good bill to protect the Second Amendment, however, as I explained to those staff members, it's just another Band Aid that will not stop the gun grabbers. I also ask if they knew Barry Soetoro aka Barack Obama did not sign a single executive order relating to the slaughter at Sandy Hook Elementary School? Every one of them looked at me with a blank stare. A few said they didn't know and were shocked. They were under the impression Soetoro had actually signed 23 EOs.

Last week the splashy headlines were everywhere on the Internet: (emphasis mine below).

Rand Paul pledges to 'nullify' President Obama's executive orders

"Sen. Rand Paul is pledging to undo some of President Barack Obama’s executive orders on guns that the Kentucky Republican believes overreach. “In this bill we will nullify anything the president does that smacks of legislation,” Rand said Wednesday on Fox's “Hannity,” referencing his legislation that is slated to be introduced in Congress next week. “And there are several of the executive orders that appear as if he's writing new law. That cannot happen.”

Obama Signs 23 Executive Orders Aimed at Gun Violence

"Among the executive orders, which do not require congressional approval, are mandates for better enforcement of gun laws, better reporting from federal agencies to improve background checks and the appointment of B. Todd Jones, acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, to that position in a permanent capacity."

Wanna be journalists who simply picked up what they read on the Internet without verifying the information put out more of the same:

The Second Amendment and Our Right to Self Defense by Roseann Salanitri "Among the 23 Gun Control Executive Orders recently signed by Mr. Obama, #4 is even more disconcerting when considering Mr. Holder's interpretation of words. This Order states:..."

Salanitri bought the media's lies and obviously feels checking facts is something she either doesn't know how to do or ignores. "...#4 Is even more disconcerting...." doesn't even exist. Sloppy work hurts everyone who reads and believes what the author has written.

Those signed up for my free email alerts already know this, but if you go to the White House web site to the listing of Executive Orders, the last one posted is:

December 27, 2012

Executive Order -- Adjustments of Certain Rates of Pay

Go to Proclamations:

January 16, 2013
Presidential Memorandum -- Engaging in Public Health Research on the Causes and Prevention of Gun Violence

Then go to Presidential Memoranda:

January 16, 2013
Presidential Memorandum -- Engaging in Public Health Research on the Causes and Prevention of Gun Violence
January 16, 2013
Presidential Memorandum -- Improving Availability of Relevant Executive Branch Records to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System
January 16, 2013
Presidential Memorandum -- Tracing of Firearms in Connection with Criminal Investigations

The above represents the sum total of Soetoro's actions regarding guns relating to the slaughter at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

As you can see, there isn't a single EO as falsely represented in articles and columns.

Proclamations, Memorandums and Memoranda are called 'presidential actions', not Executive Orders. Legally, there is a huge difference.

One rep I did have a meeting with didn't respond to my question, but it was apparent he did not know. Neither did a high level staff member of the state executive branch we spoke with in a lengthy meeting. No one likes to feel they're stupid or don't know something you do and I didn't treat any of them that way. All we are trying to do is bring forth facts and go from there.

Back to making the rounds

We visited with one particular representative and high level staff for a member of the Executive Branch about the four bills we are trying to get introduced and passed. Those were very positive meetings.

However, it's very discouraging when you discover elected officials are completely ignorant about critical issues like our monetary system. In one of the endless hallways, Steve and I ran into a representative he knows who was walking with two other men. Steve introduced me and gave forth we were there about our four bills; a constitutional sound money bill being at the top of the list. I tried to give a few polite sentences about the continuing devaluation of the dollar, the "Fed" and what will happen when the whole scam implodes. I tried to begin explaining about an alternative currency system and what will happen if Texas doesn't get a constitutional sound money bill passed this session. One of the two men piped up with a comment disparaging any idea about returning to a gold standard. The other ignorant ass remarked "we can't be printing presses." Ha, ha!

Obviously none of them has read Art. 1, Sec. 10, Clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution: " No state shall enter into any treaty, alliance, or confederation; grant letters of marque and reprisal; coin money; emit bills of credit; make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts; pass any bill of attainder, ex post facto law, or law impairing the obligation of contracts, or grant any title of nobility."

The state rep then piped up and said, paraphrasing, We have the infrastructure and good jobs and will be fine. You could have knocked me over with a feather. What on earth does that have to do with the disabilities of our monetary system? Steve, sensing the steam starting to come out of my ears, deftly took over with some "would like to talk with you later about this" and we left their company.

Mentioning the constitutional militia in my travels brought looks of someone who just sucked a lemon. Relating that Arizona's state legislature last year passed a militia bill (even though it was rightfully vetoed by Gov. Brewer) brought even more looks that said the person listening to me had no idea what I was talking about except I used the nasty: militia.

I know this is going to sound like I'm defending uninformed legislators and their staffs, but let me say it's more like reality. Our legislators are only in session not to exceed 140 days every other odd year. Texas, Nevada, North Dakota and Montana -- all gone by May this year and won't return until January 2015. Most legislators have careers outside the capitol which they return to when the session ends. I know you probably have a job or even own your own business. You know how full every day is and trying to keep up with everything going on ripping this country apart. Even I can't keep up with everything even though I work at home.

The other problem is where those folks are getting their information. Every office we visited had FOX News on. ABC, CBS and NBC, commonly referred to as the "big three" as well as CNN and MSNBC are nothing more than propaganda machines. Anyone who expects to get the truth on any issue from those sources will remain ignorant of the facts. For many years, FOX News Network was generally pretty good about reporting. Their commentator slots were informative to a degree. For too many years now, that is not the case. Sean Hannity is woefully ignorant of solutions to our most pressing problems as is the king of bloviators, Bill O'Reilly.

Occasionally, I get email from conservatives who use profanity to attack me for pointing out factual errors made by Hannity and O'Reilly, who have a combined nightly viewer ship of about five million Americans who they keep in the dark. Aren't regular viewers tired of the same, worn out guests like Bernie Goldberg and sexual deviant, Liz Cheney, daughter of former VP, Dick Cheney? Why is it those two, or even Greta Van Sustren, never have Dr. Edwin Vieira on to speak about the disabilities of our monetary system or former IRS CID agent, Joe Banister, to speak of the fraudulent misapplication of the federal income tax or Richard Gage (Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth)?

Why is it they have the same old line up with the same old political tennis match - Demorats vs Republicrats? Where is any hard hitting pieces about Agenda 21? Never a peep about that diabolical agenda. I only monitor those "shows" for a minute here and there because there's nothing there I haven't heard a million times over the past 22 years in the trenches. The most critical issues are never discussed, but O'Reilly has time for some silly quiz segment with other FOX morning hosts.

There wasn't enough time to discuss other issues state legislatures are not even looking at because they're busy with routine bills dealing with things like education funding, changes in criminal law or what have you. They're also trying to fend off unconstitutional laws that don't exist like Obamacare. Since Soetoro usurped the office of president, anything he has signed is null and void.

Those legislators are not stupid. I've been around enough of them over the years and I can honestly say, and Thelma and Steve feel the same way, there are many in our legislature who do care. They are just as worried about what's going on as we are. But, we the people who have spent years researching and understanding critical issues are far more informed than they are and that needs to change. The only way that will happen is you and me.

What are some of the other issues? I gave a list to everyone we visited: Aerosol spraying of our skies. It's not a conspiracy theory. The myth of anchor babies, vote fraud, identity theft, Monsanto - the poisoning of our food and soil - genetically modified seeds and food; industrialized hemp and raw milk, which involves something way too many state legislators don't have any knowledge about: federal jurisdiction. And, last, but not least: sever all ties with the unconstitutional Federal Department of Education. That means some major funding adjustments because the states can no longer take money from the criminals in DC if they are to remain sovereign and put education back where it belongs.

We must concentrate on the state capitols. Only someone in denial has any faith the liars, crooks and thieves who serve in the Outlaw Congress are going to stop the rape of we the people or stop the assault on our rights. Yes, we do have to fight back against really bad bills by calling before a vote. If we do nothing, nothing gets done.

Please take if from those of us who have been in the trenches: Numbers bring clout when it comes to getting appointments with state reps and senators. I know the national tea party organizations were co-opted years ago in an effort to keep them uninformed and herded in the desired direction. But, do not lump in all tea party chapters as not worth becoming involved with because they are getting educated on the critical issues and how government systems actually work. Twenty-two years ago I didn't know what I do and I'm still learning.

If you live in Texas, contact Steve and hopefully he can connect you with a tea party chapter in your area. If you live in Texas, not just Houston, contact Thelma. Her association is huge and growing in numbers. They are active and would welcome you.

Texas is now a target of the Democratic/Communist Party USA:

Democrats launch plan to turn Texas blue

"National Democrats are taking steps to create a large-scale independent group aimed at turning traditionally conservative Texas into a prime electoral battleground, crafting a new initiative to identify and mobilize progressive voters in the rapidly-changing state, strategists familiar with the plans told POLITICO.

"The organization, dubbed “Battleground Texas,” plans to engage the state's rapidly growing Latino population, as well as African-American voters and other Democratic-leaning constituencies that have been underrepresented at the ballot box in recent cycles. Two sources said the contemplated budget would run into the tens of millions of dollars over several years - a project Democrats hope has enough heft to help turn what has long been an electoral pipe dream into reality. At the center of the effort is Jeremy Bird, formerly the national field director for President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign, who was in Austin last week to confer with local Democrats about the project."

I encourage you to read the entire article, Texans. The political ideology of the Democratic Party is in full lock step with the goals of the Communist International and Communist Party USA. They've laid their plans for our state. Unless the people of Texas unite we will find ourselves on the same sinking Titanic out west called California and the same moral cesspool called Hollywood - especially Texas' schools. Remember what Lenin said: "Destroy the family, you destroy the country."

Regardless of what state you live in or what your group or organization is called, I hope we can all focus on curing the cancers instead of allowing our state legislatures to continue treating the symptoms. As I have said for so many years: Boots on the ground and stay the course. No matter your work or school schedule, every group or organization has something effective each of us can do for the cause. Get connected.

Appendix: Four bills we took to the legislature along with critical exhibits. Print them out or put on a CD and get them to your state rep and senator either in person or with a cover letter. Then, your group or organization keep following up with phone calls. It is what we are doing here in Texas.
