North Korea - Blowing Hot Air By Ted Twietmeyer |
Like many readers, I too have
received a number of emails regarding North Korea threats and questions
from friends. What does do North Korea state of war threats really mean? Is it part of a larger plan? Let's look at the statement made by George Bush Jr. (aka, Junior) a few days after the 9/11 attacks. Here is what Junior said in September 2000 on Capitol Hill, among many other things: "...There is a axis of evil which consists of Iran, Iraq, Syria, North Korea and China." I will never forgot that statement. China was unhappy to be included in the list, so later that year Junior stated he took them off the list. Anyone that believes that will believe that Elvis is still alive. Look at this list of countries and what's happened to them so far over during the past 12 years. Iraq has been invaded. Despite Junior's claim that America went to war to capture Saddam. Yet as of April 2013 America's military is still there. Great, patriotic men and women continue to die in the Mideast everyday from IEDs and hit-and-run attacks. And no wonder - we simply should not be there at all. Iran has been demonized as a threat to the United States in recent years. Threats raised by American military include the possibly of attacking Iran. Of course this would be idiotic - Iran is three times the size of Iran. American troops and materiel that can be spread only so thin. Syria has already been attacked by US planes. Like other countries before Syria, before an attack there is the same rhetoric in the media: Suddenly a particular country's leader isn't obeying international law, or is a country's leader is oppressing and attacking his own people. Or there are "WMDs" that particular country is not allowed to have. We heard that same rhetoric about Iraq, too. Anyone who has watched a professional wrestling match knows that nearly all matches begin the same way. First, a hated wrestler bad guy continually beats up the nice guy. This goes on for several minutes. Then suddenly the underdog finds the strength and beats the hated wrestler. Message: You have to create a enemy first in order to hate him later on. Same method is used over and over on a larger scale with leaders of countries in the Mideast. Now right out of the blue, for "unknown reasons" North Korea is suddenly declaring war with America. While this sort of sabre rattling has happened before with Korea no one seems to ask why. What triggered it? Our world works by cause and effect. What country on Earth could possibly imagine winning a war against America's military? What will happen if North Korea actually does attack America? It's unlikely America will would use nuclear weapons. Collateral damage and radioactive fallout will land everywhere, finding its way back to America's mainland and other countries by way of the jet stream. Japan's melted power plants have already proved that fallout quickly travels around the globe in very detectable amounts. Imagine what an air-burst nuclear bomb would do. Did you notice that when North Korea did their nuclear tests, they did it underground? They know this, too. Most likely, America's military will use non-radioactive weapons. This could include laser guided bombs and missiles, laser weapons or even fuel-air bombs. Large fuel-air bombs have a kill radius like a small nuclear tactical weapon. These massive bombs are dropped from planes and deploy a huge parachute. At the optimal altitude a highly explosive gas is quickly deployed and detonated. A powerful high pressure shock-wave kills people and levels buildings. In the final analysis it would appear doubtful Korea would start a war against any superpower. If their dictator is stupid enough to do this, after the Korean people see the $hit-storm their leader has brought down upon them his life his own people may turn against him. In our world's past we have seen many dictatorship countries such as the former USSR and East Germany. Despite living under great oppression, citizens of those countries still liked or even loved Americans. People everywhere are smart enough to know when the problem is their government and not their own citizens. Ted Twietmeyer tedtw@frontiernet.net |
