Gun Owners Voted For The Gun Grabbers
UN Arms Trade Treaty

"The militia is the natural defense of a free country against sudden foreign invasions, domestic insurrections, and domestic usurpation of power by rulers. The right of the citizens to keep and bear arms has justly been considered, as the palladium of the liberties of the republic; since it offers a strong moral check against the usurpation and arbitrary power of rulers; and will generally ... enable the people to resist and triumph over them." Joseph Story, Supreme Court Justice, Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States, p. 3:746-7, 1833

How many gun owners in this country voted for usurper Secretary of State Hillary Clinton?

Gun Owners for Hillary
May 8, 2008

"If you doubt the transformational power of Barack Obama, consider the change that he's effected on Hillary Clinton. The New York Senator came into the 2008 race with a nearly perfect anti-gun rights voting record, following her White House tenure on behalf of the most aggressively anti-Second Amendment administration in American history. Yet today, her candidacy survives because of the pro-gun vote.

"A Tuesday loss in Indiana would have ended the race. But she eked out a 2% victory by carrying the votes of gun-owning households (who made up half of the electorate) in a 22% landslide. In Pennsylvania, her ten-point win brought in ten million dollars of cash that she needed to keep going. Her 25% margin in gun-owning households of the Keystone State (a third of the electorate) turned what would have been a close contest into a runaway."

"In North Carolina, she was crushed by Obama. Yet among gun-owning households, she actually won the state by 3%, her 15 point loss being attributable to Obama's margin in the non-gun households."

How many gun owners voted for usurper, Obama/Soetoro? I couldn't find any solid numbers, but allegedly 66,882, 230 people voted in the general election for a Marxist who hates private gun ownership. No way to tell how many of those illegal votes cast for Barry were from electronic vote fraud, voter registration fraud (thanks to ACORN) and untold numbers of illegal aliens voting. But, if every gun owner in the country voted against Obama/Soetoro in the 2008 general election, even vote fraud would not have given him the fake win.

Now, who supports the UN Arms Trade Treaty? Why, Hillary Clinton. Obama/Soetoro wants that treaty ratified. Have I made my point? Gun owners voted for the gun grabbers.

The global elite have been trying to wipe the Second Amendment off the books for decades. And, for decades, gun owners have been wringing their hands, calling talk radio, sobbing in their beer and sending millions and millions of dollars in donations to organizations like the NRA to "fight for your Second Amendment rights" while continuing to ignore the only solution.

Well, here we are today with gun owners in a panic because Marxist Hillary Clinton, is about to sell them down the river with the help of the impostor president. Remember who controls the U.S. Senate. Think Harry Reid and poltroons like Dick Durbin, Diane Feinstein and Carl Levin.

How many gun owners who voted for either Clinton or Obama/Soetoro in 2008 are now sending out emails to stop that treaty? Well, certainly not the Bubba's who believe the Second Amendment is only to protect their right to hunt deer.

So few gun owners even have a clue what the Second Amendment means and because of ignorance, millions of them have pursued the same failed path for decades to "stop the gun grabbers". They donate to and vote for "pro Second Amendment" Congressional candidates and incumbents who once elected sell them out with mealy mouthed excuses. Well, always remember: There's no money in the cure, only the treatment. Ask multi-million dollar operations like the NRA.

What about the ATT from a constitutional perspective?
"With Obama getting ready to sign the Small Arms Treaty which he thinks will also ban American citizen's privately held arms, I think WE need to start tellingObama to realize that he has no authority -- no power at all -- to ban the privately held arms of the decent law-abiding people living in the United States. The Bill of Rights is supreme law! He can't go against it! If he signs such a treaty, it is a misconstruction! A counterfeit! Bogus! It would be against the law for him to try for it!

"The Founding Fathers didn't have to establish the right to keep and bear arms, they knew it was a right given to man by the Creator. What they were doing by composing the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights was confirming that the right already existed. They wanted to insure that the people could use it collectively. The Second Amendment is a confirmation of the right. No person -- no public official -- no president -- can disarm the decent law-abiding citizens of the United States!! It just can't be lawfully done!!! It is not possible for man to erase natural law that has been endowed to man by the Creator.

"Let's get this straight, folks. The Bill of Rights is not subject to the repeal, revoke, or rescind process. Obviously, Obama does not know that the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights can't be rescinded, revoked, or repealed!!! Obama must start understanding his job in running the government system of the United States or step down. He hasn't done his homework!!

"It is important for Obama to be told that our gun rights are beyond his reach, beyond his authority! He can't sign any treaty or exercise any authority or power that has not been granted to him. The contents of the Bill of Rights is beyond his authority! Whatever authority he exercises has to be in pursuance of the written laws of the United States Constitution. It's his job to practice the true law! The Second Amendment is even higher law than that which is in the 1789 Constitution. The Second Amendment is beyond the reach of the treaty power! Doesn't Obama know that?

<>"Treaties have no effect on the Bill of Rights and it is high time that all the public officials in this country get this fact straight: they can't exercise any power that is not under their authority! Obama even swore to an oath to agree to follow the Constitution. Obama must be told that rights endowed to man by the Creator can't be washed out with a man-made treaty! If Obama keeps this up, his ignorance will either embarrass him to shame, or he will have to realize that he is unqualified to hold office." Second Amendment Committee

Dr. Edwin Vieira has written dozens of columns on the Second Amendment and the true meaning of the words:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

THIS is the real meaning of the entire sentence:

"By recognizing, adopting, incorporating, and perpetuating "the Militia of the several States" as they historically existed, the Constitution immunizes them from fundamental changes in their legal composition and characteristics through mere legislative acts (as opposed to constitutional amendments). The Constitution does impose certain new National duties on the Militia when they are "call[ed] forth * * * to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions". This, however, also empowers them in these particulars, both when "call[ed] forth" according to laws that Congress "provide[s]", and in those situations in which the Militia ought and need to be "call[ed] forth" but Congress refuses, fails, or is unable to do so. Even more important, by incorporating "the Militia of the several States" with no other additions to, subtractions from, or modifications of their historical legal composition and characteristics, the Constitution preserves in all other respects the fundamental rights, powers, privileges, duties, and immunities that the Militia exercised and enjoyed throughout the period from the mid-1600s through the late 1700s.

"Because the Constitution itself empowers "the Militia of the several States" for National purposes, the Militia are not optional, discretionary, or disposable for Congress, the President, the Judiciary, the States, or even We the People. First, because the Militia are "the Militia of the several States", Congress lacks all authority either to create or to dissolve them. Congress also lacks authority to disregard, neglect, or impede the Militia, with respect either to their performance of their constitutionally mandated services to the Nation, or to their practical ability to perform those services. Instead, Congress's powers and duties are "[t]o provide for calling forth the Militia" for particular National purposes, and to make them fully effective for those purposes by "provid[ing] for organizing, arming, and disciplining the[m]". Article I, Section 8, Clauses 15 and 16. The President "shall be" their "Commander in Chief" "when [they are] called into the actual Service of the United States". Article II, Section 2, Clause 1. And the Judiciary lacks authority to absolve either Congress or the President of these responsibilities.

"Second, although "the Militia of the several States" are State institutions, the States cannot dispense with them, either, because the Constitution presupposes their permanence, and the Constitution is "the supreme Law of the Land". Article VI, Clause 2. Obviously, if the States could dissolve their Militia at will, they could erase Congress's power to "call[ ] forth the Militia". They could render unfulfillable the duty of the United States to "guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government" and to "protect each of them against Invasion; and * * * against domestic Violence". Article IV, Section 4. And they could even disarm themselves from "engag[ing] in War" when "actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay", because (absent dispensation from Congress) they would have no other armed forces to deploy. Article I, Section 10, Clause 3.

"Third, because the Militia are State institutions, the Constitution reserves to the States an exclusive power and duty to "govern[ ] such Part of them as may [not] be employed in the Service of the United States", and a concurrent power and duty to provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining their Militia if Congress refuses, fails, or is unable to do so, in whole or in part. See Article I, Section 8, Clause 16; Amendment X; Amendment XIV, Section 1; and Houston v. Moore, 18 U.S. (5 Wheaton) 1 (1820). Indeed, if a negligent or criminal Congress, by shirking its duties or conspiring to defeat the Constitution, could render the Militia impotent and thereby put the Nation and States in peril, and the States nevertheless could do nothing to correct the situation, it would be absurd to speak of "the Militia of the several States" at all."

Dr. Vieira has been the driving force behind reconstituting the constitutional militia since at least 2005, trying to get gun owners to understand all of them are homeland security. Many of us have been pounding on this because it is the only solution. Whining and making those endless phone calls to Congress have NOT produced the solution. Neither has throwing your money at big gun organizations. I have been terribly disappointed that Gun Owners of America (GOA) has not taken a leading role in educating their membership and organizing at the state level to get this done. I didn't expect it from the NRA or other groups because their only solution seems to be send a donation so we can file another lawsuit.

Why is that?

Where is Ted Nugent and Chuck Norris? I would think both of those gentlemen would jump at the chance to implement the cure instead of more treatments.

How about this splashy headline:

Army Manual Outlines Plan to Confiscate Firearms, Detain Americans

"A newly leaked US Army Military Police training manual for "Civil Disturbance Operations" outlines how military assets are to be used domestically to quell riots, confiscate firearms and even kill Americans on U.S. soil during mass civil unrest. The document (PDF), which is dated 2006 and was used for a self-learning course at the U.S. Army Military Police School at Fort McClellan, makes it clear that the operations described in the manual apply to both "CONUS and OCONUS," meaning inside the Continental United States and outside the Continental United States."

Posse Comitatus has been gutted over the years by all those "conservatives" elected to Congress, along with the socialists elected by stupid voters. As for the U.S. Army coming into a state with the intention of quelling riots, that will only happen if the people of a state allow it to happen.

We all know the constitutional militia has been demonized, marginalized and attacked by hate groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center. The ignorance in this country about the Second Amendment is shameful. I did not fully understand it myself until I began reading Edwin's columns in 2005 and his excellent book, Constitutional Homeland Security: A Call for Americans to Revitalize the Militia of the Several States. I've always supported the Second Amendment, but until I did the research, I was only part right. But, once I fully understood, I didn't just shrug my shoulders or go off the the shooting range.

As for treaties one must understand a treaty cannot override the U.S. Constitution:

Reid v. Covert 354 U.S. October 1956, in part:

"It would be manifestly contrary to the objectives of those who created the Constitution, as well as those who were responsible for the Bill of Rights -- let alone alien to our entire constitutional history and tradition -- to construe Article VI as permitting the United States to exercise power under an international agreement without observing constitutional prohibitions. [Footnote 32] In effect, such construction would permit amendment of that document in a manner not sanctioned by Article V. The prohibitions of the Constitution were designed to apply to all branches of the National Government, and they cannot be nullified by the Executive or by the Executive and the Senate combined.

"There is nothing new or unique about what we say here. This Court has regularly and uniformly recognized the supremacy of the Constitution over a treaty. [Footnote 33] For example, in Geofroy v. Riggs, 133 U. S. 258, 133 U. S. 267, it declared:

"The treaty power, as expressed in the Constitution, is in terms unlimited except by those restraints which are found in that instrument against the action of the government or of its departments, and those arising from the nature of the government itself and of that of the States. It would not be contended that it extends so far as to authorize what the Constitution forbids, or a change in the character of the government, or in that of one of the States, or a cession of any portion of the territory of the latter, without its consent.

"This Court has also repeatedly taken the position that an Act of Congress, which must comply with the Constitution, is on a full parity with a treaty, and that, when a statute which is subsequent in time is inconsistent with a treaty, the statute to the extent of conflict renders the treaty null. [Footnote 34] It would be completely anomalous to say that a treaty need not comply with the Constitution when such an agreement can be overridden by a statute that must conform to that instrument."

Even if the Small Arms Treaty isn't ratified this time around, the forces working to destroy this republic will be back. The ONLY way to stop this is for state legislatures to reconstitute the militia. Forget about federal courts and the endless lawsuits.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer recently vetoed a militia bill from their legislature and rightfully so. It was a bad bill and deserved to be scrapped, but the effort in that state is not dead by any means. Years ago I sent the audio CD of some of Edwin Vieira's columns to a few of their state senators and representatives who fully understand homeland security since Arizona is the gateway for the illegals invasion. The important thing is they are not afraid of the media and millionaire moguls like Morris Dees who cries poor for the Southern Poverty Law Center.

So I ask the gun owners in this country and those who may not own a gun, but support the Second Amendment: Are YOU going to get off your backside and fight for the only solution or just keep talking about it? Are YOU going to continue sending donations to the NRA and other gun groups to fight for YOUR Second Amendment rights? What's the matter with YOU taking a leadership role in your county and organizing to meet with your state representative and provide him/her with the materials below? It takes boots on the ground, not more talking.

I've said this many times in other columns: Private militia are not the real constitutional militia:

True vs. False Militia and Why the Difference Matters

There are many throughout the states doing great work and God bless them. Training for natural disasters and things like that. But, if you read Dr. Vieira work and watch The Purse and the Sword, you will understand why it has to be your state legislature. Then millionaires like Morris Dees can go suck eggs. We don't need the Nazi styled Department of Fatherland Security headed up by Janet Napolitano or anyone else. Homeland Security is OUR responsibility. We the people who cherish being self-governed vs being chained by a million "federal" laws and regulations and now drones flying over our homes.

I have provided the aforementioned CD to my sheriff, my state representative and a half dozen others in the legislature as well as to sheriffs in other states and candidates for sheriff in this election. I put out 18,000 of those CDs all across this country with permission to make copies. It is available for free on my web site. You can make burn CDs and hand them out at gun shows, but it's critically important to start a dialogue with your state representative because it's the state house where this will happen. It takes boots on the ground, not calling talk radio or endless columns on a dozen new bills in Congress "we have to fight".

If you haven't read Edwin's column on the militia, they are here; just go down the list.

If you haven't read his comprehensive (fairly short) Vol. 1: Constitutional Homeland Security: A Call for Americans to Revitalize the Militia of the Several States, you can send him a check or money order for $19.95 (VA residents add 5% tax) to: Dr. Edwin Vieira, 52 Stonegate Court, Front Royal, VA 2263. I can't recommend enough the DVD: The Purse and the Sword featuring Edwin in an 8 hour, 4 disc set. If money is a bit tight, share the cost with three or four friends. Watch the entire 8 eight hours, maybe two hours at a time with a group. I spoke in Houston, June 30th to a wonderful group of Americans who do care and want to know the truth. I gave their group a copy as a gift because I know they will watch it. Pass it around. Knowledge is power but only if we use it. If we act on it.

There are Second Amendment groups in every state of the Union. When are gun owners going to figure out doing the same thing the past 20, 30 years hasn't solved the problem and neither has electing conservatives to the U.S. Congress? When are gun groups in each state going to network together, get on the same page and start lobbying their state legislators and senators to reconstitute the militia? Hmm?
