“Free Political-Speech”
was murdered in Chicago at the Democratic Convention of 1968, by the
uniformed thugs of the mayor of Chicago. The ensuing riots during which
television reporters were beaten on-camera; over the protests that were
being held against the Viet Nam War—in the streets outside the Convention
Center. No officers were punished, and from that day to this Americans
have not had the right to protest at political conventions in the United
States: Because the public did not protest this treatment then, or at
any time since1968, we have now lost not just the right to speak freely
but the constitution, and the entire Bill of Rights as well!
“For five days in August, the nation's Democrats assembled in Chicago
to nominate a presidential candidate at a convention that would quickly
spiral out of control and reflect the domestic chaos of the Vietnam
era. Between 10,000 and 15,000 demonstrators were arrayed against 12,000
police and 6,000 National Guard troops, with an international press
contingent of more than 1,000 on hand to record events inside the International
Amphitheatre and outside at locations from Lincoln Park to Grant Park.
Chants of "the whole world is watching" were broadcast as hippies, Yippies
and the National Mobilization to End the War in Vietnam (Mobe) clashed
with police at dozens of locations. The climax came W... Show more »”

Chicago's star turn on the world stage was cut in half Monday after
President Barack Obama made a surprise shift of the May G-8 international
summit from his hometown to Camp David.
The full complement of downtown security concerns remains however. Chicago
will keep the NATO meeting, meaning diplomats and protesters still will
descend on Chicago by the thousands for a gathering of world leaders
May 20-21.
The abrupt change of venue came after Mayor Rahm Emanuel and the city's
host committee spent months pumping up the events as an international
showcase for the city, important because both the G-8 and NATO gatherings
hadn't been held in the same city in three decades. (The crucial influence
was the 1968 riots)
After the announcement Monday, the mayor's office insisted that nothing
had really changed. And no one was talking publicly about the miscalculation
that Chicago would make a great place for G-8 leaders to hash out a
broad range of economic, political and security issues.” (1)
Here is what came from our failure to keep our own government in check,
because there are always CONSEQUENCES for every failure!

Yesterday this story was reposted from May 15, 2011 and I mistook it
for something that I was expecting to happen. However, much of what
was suggested in this story has already happened with the critical exception
that congress has NOT YET actually voted on whether or not to begin
World War Three. Here’s part of that article.
“The United States Congress is set to vote on legislation that authorizes
the official start of World War 3.
The legislation authorizes the President of the United States to take
unilateral military action against all nations, organizations, and persons,
both domestically and abroad, who are alleged to be currently or who
have in the past supported or engaged in hostilities or who have provided
aid in support of hostilities against the United States or any of its
coalition allies.
The legislation removes the requirement of congressional approval for
the use of military force and instead gives the President totalitarian
dictatorial authority to engage in any and all military actions for
an indefinite period of time.
It even gives the President the authority to launch attacks against
American Citizens inside the United States with no congressional oversight
whatsoever.
Just to recap, because that was a mouthful:
Endless War The war will continue until all hostilities are terminated,
which will never happen.
No Borders The president will have the full authority to launch military
strikes against any country, organization or person, including against
U.S citizens on U.S soil.
Unilateral Military Action Full authority to invade any nation at
any time with no congressional approval required.
No Clearly Defined Enemy The US can declare or allege anyone a terrorist
or allege they are or have been supporting “hostilities” against the
US and attack at will.
Authorization To Invade Several Countries The president would have
full authority to invade Iran, Syria, North Korea, along with several
other nations in Africa and the Middle East and even Russia and China
under the legislation all of which are “known” to have supported and
aided hostilities against the United States.” (2)
What has happened between May 15, 2011 and March 16, 2012 is that all
those powers mentioned in the story from last year have quietly gone
into effect, without having asked the Congress to vote on these expanded
powers—which is why I assumed that the story I sent out was real. I
made a mistake and forwarded that story without looking at the actual
date that was clearly visible on the original message. I also sent a
correction immediately after that fact was pointed out.
Given all of the over-reaching that this government has routinely done
since the riots of 1968 in Chicago until the present moment; it is literally
amazing that we are not all in some kind of prison already. This country
is dependent on the active involvement of all its citizens whenever
anything concerning our freedoms or our rights is massively threatened:
Yet we have chosen silence and even non-resistance in nearly every case
since 1968. If Amerikans will not fight to save our own lives (and our
supposed freedoms), then we shall deserve everything that is coming
to us! Among the things we have chosen to ignore is the flag with Obama’s
face having replaced the stars on the US flag that has flown over the
Democratic Headquarters in Florida for months, before anyone even noticed
that arrogant obscenity and finally demanded that this distortion of
the American-flag be taken down. Contrast this act with this article
that makes Free-Speech a Felony (3)
Among other things this week the world is nearing the extinction of
life in the oceans. Deek Jackson sums up the week and our absolute failures
to even notice what the hell is going on anywhere; yesterday, today
or quite possibly tomorrow watch the FCK NEWS, and decide for yourself
as to whether or not we are either sane or responsible for any of this
behavior. . . (4)
