- Since the US-NATO bombed their village within 50 miles
of the Capital City, Kabul, this family had to abandon their village and
search for a rudimentary livelihood in the urban slams of Kabul. The daily
misery associated with lack of water, lack of hygiene and sanitation has
taken toll on them. They are not alone. There are thousands of families
that hare forced to leave their villages thanks to the nightly raids by
US-NATO Special Forces. Even though many of these families lived a very
simple life cultivating their small farms, they did not need to worry about
lack of water, food and rent because they provided this in their own respective
villages.
-
- On top of the usual problems of urban slam, these families
have to deal with the New World Order wherein corruption constitutes the
center of daily life. Since the US invasion of Afghanistan in October 2001,
even doctors in government hospitals ask for bribes first and then provide
treatment. The artificial economy created by the influx of countless Non-Governmental
Organizations (NGOs) and other private corporations have deprived regular
people of the normalcy of subsistence. Hence, the type of simple yet suitable
livelihood that used to be available to these internally displaced Afghans
in their respective villages does not exist in the large urban slams.
-
- Consequently, their children die from disease, winter
cold, and are subject to the horrors of kidnappers working for international
children organ harvesters on daily basis. All this is happening due to
the inhumane bombings and nightly raids on Afghan villages targeting regular
people. In addition, these internally displaced Afghans suffer from severe
contamination from all types of exotic weapons used by US-NATO including
uranium munitions, microwave bombs and white phosphorus.
-
- It has been 10 years since I have continued to embark
on trips to Afghanistan. The main reason of my trips has been investigation
into the various crimes such as use of uranium munitions, microwaves weapons
and white phosphorus. I have documented all these facts.
-
- In addition, I take these trips, when my finances allow
it, to help the vast number of homeless Afghans who have lost their homes
and livelihoods due to the US-NATO bombing raids. During the winter months,
the worst sight that I always hope to forget and not to see again, are
the countless frostbites of young children walking barefoot in snow. Or
the many dead Afghan children who lose their lives to pneumonia due to
lack of warm clothes and mothers who give birth in the cold of winter and
go into irreversible shock.
-
- So when I continuously bother you by requesting a donation,
the aim is to help and bring some degree of relief to the worst off. As
usual I am giving you an earful again and request your help in my endeavor
to do good to which you have been comrades in arms.
-
- So, please once again, dig into your pockets and into
your usual kindness and help these wasted lives. These poor souls are guilty
of only one thing that is to be Afghans and targets of US-NATO bombs. The
funds would be used to purchase winter supplies in Afghanistan and other
necessities.
