Americans - Then And Now
By Ted Twietmeyer
5-18-11

Below is a pew in a church. Do you know what the significance of this is? (Don't worry this isn't about religion.)

All American children are exposed to the history of America for 12 years in grade school. We won't review the details of the French Indian war, the revolutionary war, WW1 or WW2 or the other wars. Most people are familiar with these events, why they happened and how they turned out. We'll talk more about the above photo later.

We need to appreciate what Americans were like back in the 18th and 19th centuries to better understand where we are now. These men, women and children were cut from very different cloth than Americans of today. Although their lives may appear to be simple compared to ours today, they had very different concerns about survival. Obtaining food, shelter and fighting for freedom was everything to our ancestors and was of the highest priority.

In Benjamin Franklin's time, flickering smoky candles and kerosene lamps were the only sources of light available to read and write at night. How many lines of the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and other documents were written using scratchy quill pens and inkwells late at night we'll never know. No computers, cell phones or other toys. Just hard work and a vision of what life without a king and parliament would be.

These men worked incredibly hard to envision a path for a new America that would endure over the coming centuries and what it would take to turn it into reality. And it was all done without air conditioning or central heating as well as living under the threat of being arrested, tried and hanged for treason at any time. How many people today if given the chance to go back in time and do all this, would have the courage and fortitude not only to being, but to see it through? It took many years to to not only chart the course of America, but to get it finally on course and keep it there.

Common sense, self-motivation, family, freedom, working hard and protecting one's health were only a few of the standards of 230 years ago. It was Thomas Jefferson who said, "No good thing will come from meddling in the affairs of another country." He has been proven to be absolutely correct, even in our day. But there are those in leadership positions who have failed to remember this advice. To further their own secret agendas, today's leaders are convinced they are wiser than the founding fathers. To accomplish that end they have divided our entire world into zones:

Today no one is heeding the advice of our founding fathers. Instead, it's been replaced by megalomania in an effort to take over the entire planet. There have been conflicting stories about whether or not the above map has been abandoned.Today, children in early elementary school are coloring large areas of paper globes with the outlines of countries - to match the map shown above. Even USA, Canada and Mexico are colored the same in classrooms. The agenda is clear.

We need to promote an understanding of the fact that what we think and believe is freedom, simply doesn't exist anymore. America's president is given the Nobel Peace Prize soon after being elected to office. He then starts several wars within 2 years. An invasion of a sovereign country is justified by claiming the UN ordered it. Even though it was unauthorized by Congress no one questions it. When this happens something is seriously wrong. Americans today are now being led to believe the absurd concept that war is Peace, and that we need to fight a war on terror that really doesn't exist. Yet very few even attempt to voice an opinion. Without a doubt, brainwashing in schools and media has done an effective job.

Now more than ten years has passed since the day more than 3,000 Americans have died. Indeed, time does prove all things. I said ten years ago when the NYC event happened, that time proves all things then, too. In fact it did, that terrorists of the quantity and veracity the public has been told are everywhere, simply do not exist as a real threat.

So just what are we really afraid of? Many veterans I've talked to remain patriotic, but quietly live in fear. A large number of publicly tough vets secretly fear losing their disability check if they speak out. It's as though the brass balls they earned in boot camp fell off when they were discharged from the military. It doesn't matter which branch of service it is, either. While this doesn't apply to all vets for sure, it shouldn't even apply to any.

Does discharge from the service also mean a vet no longer has the duty to protect America from all threats, foreign and domestic? Of course not. Protecting America is the duty of every citizen. For those illegal aliens among us, I repeat the word CITIZEN.

If you're a foreign national on American soil illegally, either learn American history, take the exam and be sworn in as a legitimate citizen. If you don't think you need to, pack up now and go back where you came from. Or just call INS they'll help you.

Perhaps it's the brainwashing in America that's most painful to watch. Media presents blatantly contradictory stories about America's enemies, foreign and domestic that defy all logic and reason. People soak it up as though it comes from the mouth of god, digest it and regurgitate the lies to others. Global warming quietly became "climate change" and almost no one questioned why.

Email lists, informal forums and groups for freely exchanging information have not gone unnoticed . These have been infiltrated by agent provocateurs on uncle's payroll. These counter-intelligence agents pose as Joe Average six pack or as some former government "scientist" to be as convincing as possible. Countless time they have challenged, and continue to do so, any information presented which is contrary to mainstream science or politics. I've had endless run-ins with these people in an email group, and to the unwary without a defense background they are most convincing.

Agent provocateurs often exercise outright character assassination, or use some past minor error or mistake and use it against them. They do shoot the messenger. These agents are one of the visible appendages of big brother. Their job? To watch what's going on and interfere wherever possible when too much truth is exposed. Options such as remaining quiet, twisting information around or making the individual look bad are all at their disposal.

Real, life-changing or paradigm-shifting information disclosed in forums and email groups is similar to releasing a genie from a bottle. Since the genie (information) cannot be stuffed back into the bottle once released, the only thing left for an agent provocateur to do is discredit the person who discloses new information. While you may think such actions appear obvious to others, most people who see this happen will buy into it hook, line and sinker. I've had more than one agent viciously attack me on an email list with 50 cc'd names, then in private send me a friendly email agreeing with what I said.

So how can both intelligent and not so smart people believe this? If you were to go into a casino that you didn't know had rigged tables and lost all your money, you would think one of two things. First, you were just having a bad day. Or you might think the tables were rigged. Most people would not accept the idea that tables were rigged. Instead, they would instantly feel re-assured, safe and comfortable if they saw the state's gaming commission license hanging on the wall. That piece of paper alone would help them to mentally refuse to believe the tables could be rigged.

Most people are unaware of the phenomena that a doctor entering an examination room wearing a white lab coat is immediately trusted. Even though we know coroners, scientists and others who are not qualified to work on our bodies wear the same lab coat. This too, is a cultural thing we have all grown up with. The lab coat is just another symbol of trust, like the gaming license on the wall.

In the early days of America, there were no lab coats. No state gambling commissions, no police departments, no 911 to call. They weren't needed. A deal was sealed with a handshake, and that was that. There were no speed limit signs along roads for horses, signs that showed a curve ahead or a 30MPH sign on the road coming into town. People knew what to do without being told.

Television news, newspapers and other media all depend on the programmed paradigm for success. Radio and television networks employ psychologists to analyze every detail of a show, devise ways to addict people and prevent them from channel flipping when an ad comes on. Networks have worked together by establishing precise times for advertising breaks to thwart those eager to use their remote control. Violence and tension are a part of real life, and people crave to see this in movies, television series and even documentaries.

To survive and be able to say no to that which is wrong and against what the founding fathers established, and to realize that the new induced paradigm where wrong is right, right is wrong and war is peace requires a fundamental change in thinking and understanding. The UN has proclaimed in writing "the family is an enemy to society." But they didn't state which kind of society they were referring to. Until the mental paradigm firmly cast during childhood is shattered and cast aside, the light of truth and understanding cannot reach either the mind or the soul.

American citizens must begin to stand up for what's right and say no to those directives which are contrary to freedom, family and country they will continue to hurt themselves and others around them.

At the top of this essay is a photograph. This location is a pew inside the oldest, still worshiping Methodist Church in Richmond, VA. It is open to the public. At this very spot over near the left wall is where Patrick Henry stood up and declared "Give me liberty or give me death!"

Patrick Henry

All the founding fathers were in attendance the day Patrick Henry gave his speech.

I strongly encourage EVERY American, including those who will become Americans, to visit the church with their children when they are old enough to remember everything they will see and hear. No dress-up is required. Listen to the volunteer guide dressed in the Marine uniform of Patrick Henry's time show you where all the other founding fathers were seated. Listen to him recite Patrick Henry's speech. Your visit there will be a priceless experience you and your family shall not forgot.

It's not an option to stand up and be a true American. This is everyone's duty.
