- At first, I almost wrote these off to image stitching
problems since Google Earth is a composite of millions of satellite images.

- That is, until I found both of these objects appear to
be casting shadows and apparently giving off light. Apparently this glowing
light doesn't project downward toward the Earth, or the shadows we see
probably wouldn't exist. There is also the possiblility that the shadows
are the result of the bottom of the objects not emitting any light.

- Note: A slight amount of pixelated artifact occured when
the image was converted to JPEG for posting. However, jagged vertical lines
are exactly as you will find them if you go to this location yourself with
Google Earth. This is from Google Earth on July 28, 2009:

- The bizarre objects could also be a form of lens flare,
but I couldn't find any other buildings in the area flaring like this.

- Altitude of of top image is 742 feet. Both objects measure
49ft long x 18ft wide using Google Earth's measuring tool. This is somewhat
smaller than a typical small ranch home.

- For scale, a nearby building is included and also appears
to be motor vehicles. This could be the result of image censoring which
has been found on Google Earth before. If this is the case, what could
be located in this part of Chile which is so sensitive that it requires
such strange image editing? I have provided all the details in the above
image to help anyone go view these objects for themselves. No secrets here.
