- Dear Jeff,
-
- This brief letter is my final response to Curt Maynard's
remarks.
-
- Maynard attempts to take me to task for an apparent misstatement
that I already corrected days ago. In my 2nd video discussing the cyber-attacks
against Rense.com, I stated that websites that I consider overtly racist
and anti-Jewish -- including Hal Turner's site and Stormfront.org -- were
not experiencing disruptions similar to those experienced by Jeff Rense.
Less than 12 hours after this video was posted, I received a couple of
emails from individuals who wanted to correct me. It seems that both Hal
Turner and "Stormfront" have experienced prolonged outages, though
I suspect they have not been able to identity the specific person or persons
responsible. I IMMEDIATELY included an annotation in my video correcting
this point.
-
- It is obvious that Maynard seeks to imply that Turner
and Stormfront are being disrupted because they're doing something right.
But in truth, anyone can attract enemies who will make life hard for them.
I believe that Jeff Rense has made enemies by doing the right thing, and
standing up for good and admirable principles. I don't believe that any
sane or reasonable person can say the same thing about Turner or Stormfront.
Furthermore, Michael Rivero of Whatreallyhappened.com has provided evidence
that Stormfront may be an outright disinfo site intended to disrupt and
discredit the alternative media, and peace movements: http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/
stormfront.html?q=stormfront.html
-
- I believe that Jeff Rense has been targeted more severely
than others, because he is not a convenient STRAW MAN. I thought I made
this point clearly, even though it seems to have been lost on Curt Maynard.
-
- Despite the relative lengthiness of Maynard's blog, I
believe his argument with me is quite simple: he feels I am in the wrong
because I refuse to identify Jews and blacks as "the enemy."
Maynard writes, "Is Goodspeed asserting that websites that condemn
Jews aren't also condemning Zionism?"
-
- Um, is Maynard saying that I should applaud sites that
"condemn Jews" simply because in the process they are also condemning
SOME Zionists? Newsflash, Curt: Not all Jews are Zionists, and not all
Zionists are Jews.
-
- As I pointed out in my video response to Maynard comments,
Maynard has referred to blacks as "mindless monkeys" in his
blog, and has stated that "I couldn't imagine living in a neighborhood
or town where the population of blacks exceeeded 10% - it would be an unimaginable
horror." I've no doubt that some people reading this agree wholeheartedly
with Maynard, and I find that unspeakably tragic. I abhor racism in its
every form, unconditionally and without exception. If that puts me in
ill favor with Curt Maynard and others of his ilk, I am all too happy to
oblige.
