- That two letter 'word' is at the center of "LIFE."
And on it hangs the balance of whether or not the United States will survive
as a Republic or even as a nation. Yet most Americans seem to remain blissfully
unaware of what is happening to their country, every minute of every day-since
'the decider' appointed himself to run the world.
-
- Cheney-Bush says that the USA is currently "at war"
and they are correct-except that the 'wars' they refer to are foreign:
the real War is on the people of this country. Their war would be about
'hearts & minds' if the public was that engaged, but they are not.
Hence the creeping militarization of American law enforcement agencies
proceeds apace with very little notice.
-
- But if one looks and occasionally listens-the evidence
of this massive erosion of Constitutional Rights is screaming to be noticed
in just these Four Amendments that are part of the Bill of Rights.
-
- Amendment I
-
- "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment
of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the
freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably
to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
-
- Amendment IV
-
- "The right of the people to be secure in their persons,
houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures,
shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause,
supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place
to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
-
- Amendment V
-
- "No person shall be held to answer for a capital,
or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a
Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in
the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor
shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy
of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness
against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without
due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use,
without just compensation"
-
- Amendment X
-
- "The powers not delegated to the United States by
the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the
States respectively, or to the people."
-
- How then to explain the recent blatant violations of
persons and their movements by uniformed authorities within the United
States, without the protections against unreasonable search and seizures-
never mind the routine Tasering and or stunning of private citizens without
due cause by a huge number of the so called authorities in this country
today?
-
- On the net there are three-million, five-hundred and
twenty thousand videos listed under "police abuse videos." On
the official "Police Complaint Center" site there are some 400
incidents 'under investigation.' Many of these publicly available videos
are of Taser or stun gun incidents which are out of control and increasing
in number every day.
-
- Activists say that these actions by government are designed
to accustom the public to being stopped and searched, with force and the
threat of force, in order to condition the population to an ever-increasingly
militarized police presence in every aspect of our lives. This applies
to security check points in a wide variety of locations and to drivers
as well a passengers on public transportation or when using private transportation.
The 'goal' the activists say, is to break down public resistance to these
kinds of uniformed intrusive and illegal actions by what those who used
"to protect and serve" the public.
-
- Government claims that Tasers are just another law-enforcement
tool, a tool that "saves lives." The authorities also say that
Tasers are not life threatening: However a number of people have died from
these encounters with quasi-authoritarian forces, in a wide variety of
encounters.
-
- What if the public decided to find these 'agents' on
their days off, these uniforms that are Tasering the public, seemingly
at random and give them a taste of what they are so freely dispensing
when in uniform. After all according to their superiors: being Tasered
is no big deal, so this kind of visit from the public to those who have
used the weapon indiscriminately would seem to be in order-especially since
there seems to be no rush to convict anyone in uniform of anything like
a crime.
-
-
-
-
-
- If the American public were awake they might go well
beyond just questioning these actions; and since virtually no action is
forthcoming from "the authorities" an aroused public might decide
to take the initiative.
-
- Currently the FBI can now write their own search warrants,
to do what judges will not allow them to do openly. These ostensibly federal
agents can now give themselves permission to do whatever they want to do-and
then they protect their actions by making even the knowledge of these illegal
orders public, a separate crime in and of itself. (1)
-
- These "uniforms" are part of the societal structure
that is supposed to act to protect the public, so when one of their number
is out-of-control, then maybe the public needs to make the individual offender
aware of exactly how their Taser feels to the innocent citizens they seem
to frequently choose to fire on? An informed citizenry would do just that
they might even decide to issue their own permission papers, since
if it is alright for 'law enforcement' to by-pass the courts, why should
the public's actions be any different. When there is no law for those who
enforce the laws: Then why are there no laws to protect the victims which
these crimes create! In a Republic the above is not possible, but in a
fascist police state this is the norm. (2)
-
- The public in America is under attack by its own government,
a government that has created the impending financial crash that one Quadrillion
dollars ion derivatives will shortly usher in. If this does not constitute
an attack upon us all then what could?
-
- "Earth's principal index of economic theft and political
disenfranchisement, the interest-rate derivative, grew to a record $347
trillion for the first six months of 2007.
-
- The market for derivatives grew at the fastest pace in
at least nine years to $516 trillion in the first half of 2007, the Bank
for International Settlements admitted yesterday. That places the annual
derivatives market at over $1,000 trillion, $1 quadrillion.
-
- "Count 'em", one thousand, thousand billions!"
(3)
- Think carefully about that word "IF" then ask
yourself whose country is this, and what have you done lately to pay attention
to what you're losing every minute of each and every day!
