- The increase in violence in Afghanistan had affected
all segments of society. The most severely affected are people who depend
for their livelihoods on the assistance of others. Among these vulnerable
souls, orphans are the most neglected.

- The painful remainder of this tragedy is a couple of
orphanages that I have been supporting with meager resources for the past
four years. Unfortunately, with the sale of my book-Afghanistan After "Democracy"--
hitting rock bottom, I can no longer support these orphanages. To this
end, I have reduced the price of the book from $28 to $20 in order to increase
the sale of the book, so that enough could be sold to save the two orphanages.

- The initial purpose for the production of my book was
to raise funds for a land that I hoped would house a research facility
dealing with the disaster of uranium munitions used by the US forces and
their allies. However, due to the indifference of many, the dream of purchasing
the land or imagining a future facility remained just a dream.

- Lets hope, I can break into this indifference and the
humanity of many good people. This would be my last attempt to raise funds
for the two orphanages. With the exception of a handful, it is hard to
believe that the thousands of people visiting my web-site did not have
an ounce of humanity to care for a disaster caused by their own government
through their tax dollars.

- I know the people of this country are not in control
of their tax-dollars or how it is spent, however, they are in control of
how to do good for the victims of their government's mass murder and genocide
through uranium munitions by supporting humanitarian efforts such as supporting
these orphanages.

- If I fail to succeed in getting the interests of thousands
of you that would see this appeal, I would have no choice but to say that
this country and its people have lost their soul to do good for humanity.
Lets hope, I do not reach this conclusion!
