- There was a time prior to January 1, 2007, when I would
have written a vicious commentary on any piece negatively representing
the police. I'd be ripping the author up one way and down the
other. After all, I'd given nearly 40 years to supporting law enforcement.
I knew cops and they knew me. This is no longer true.

- Trouble was, I hung with the good guys. Exclusively.
People naturally gravitate to those of like values, culture and ideas.
And that was what it was all about. Hell, I'd gotten into that business
as a part time volunteer, attended the academy at the cost of the best
cop I'd ever known, Chief Steinmuller. Worked for him a few years and developed
a marvelous view of what it was all about. It was something I needed to
do on my own time. And I enjoyed the job.

- Sure, in a great town a mile square, with at the time,
the highest per capita income in the nation. I loved the town and the chief,
a tough sumgun who was hated by 50% of everyone who lived there and loved
by the rest.

- But he was *respected* by 101% of everyone. Even the
bad guys, and there were very few of them in that town. They were afraid
of Chief Steinmuller. And not a one among any of us could blame them. It
all started when the chief sat in his office with his back toward a large
window behind which, was his police car. A Hemi Head specially built Chrysler.
That was ... WooF!

- The thugs (young kids) took his two way radio. Right
behind his back. They hit him again. On the third try, the chief was waiting
for them. They were released from prison ten years after I left Steinmuller.

- But I digress. Police today are infiltrated by the US
Government. In case you've not heard, the US Government is *giving*
any police agency military equipment consisting of heavy vehicles, even
modified TANKS! Tanks, Sheeple. Not to mention guns, armor, ammo and just
about ANY heavy weapon in their arsenal. All they gotta do is read the
brochure and ask and it is delivered. FREE of any charge.

- The academies are graduating beasts, not cops, not even
police. To protect and serve? No way Jose. These new officers are mean
spirited bastards with a large chip on each shoulder. They have no citizen
sensitivity training whatsoever. None. And in fact, they even arrest other
cops. Years ago, too many to admit, I used to teach a course for any agency
which asked on how to act toward citizens when doing the job. (given
by the Fraternal Order of Police) This course is no longer given or even
considered. It seems that most agencies have their own value system and
it does *not* favor the citizen.

- Yes, it's too true that the attitude of citizens against
the police has changed for the worse. But which came first, I genuinely
am not certain because every component of our American society have changed.

- Sheeple, decide now what you are going to do when the
fit hits the shan? Don't do ANYTHING which would preclude your losing your
firearms. Even if it means not carrying at times when you might be pulled
over for whathehellever. Obey the law at all times, just to preserve your
ownership rights to firearms. You may need them when somebody in goobermint
decides the time is ripe for a terrorist attack. The terrorists may be
your very own goobers in goobermint and if you are too close to them for
any reason, if you have something in your file and trust me, you do have
a file if you own and register guns, then you get to lose them. Your
firearms, that is.

- It happens quickly and without notice. One day they just
show up and grab your guns. MAKE CERTAIN that if this happens to you, the
police are carrying a Search Warrant. If not, call the local police or
state police and tell them what is happening. But first, call your attorney.
Scheiss happens quickly. Wake him up at four in the morning. He sleeps
too much anyway.

- Get yourselves some long guns. A solid twelve gauge shotgun
in semi auto. A Binelli would be best if you can afford it. It'll shoot
any ammo you feed it. If you have a license to carry concealed, buy Sig
Sauer. Same reason.

- Why? Because this nation cannot survive in it's present
state. We are divided. We work too long, we cannot care for or nurture
our kids in this atmosphere. We are not saving money for our elder years.
We cannot depend on income from Social Security either, especially those
who are in their late forties and younger. Social Security is nearly dead,
and so are We the Sheeple. But there will come a time when we will wake
up.
- When that time comes, those sworn to protect and serve
will do neither. Our government will be busy surviving in bunkers now being
fed supplies by long lines of trucks. As I write this, witnesses tell us
that the known places of safety for those who "must" survive
are being fed to the gills for long internment, Hmmmm. Will wonders never
cease? I wonder, wonder why, ba doom doom who, who said to feed the bunckers?

- I expect the worst because Americans are either going
to give in or give 'em all hell. I hope for the latter. I expect the former.
In a way, I am happy I am getting old, at least from one standpoint. I
don't believe I will be alive to see the worst. If I am, and if I can still
think, I hope to be able to use my trigger finger. That is, after the thing
is released because I just happen to have a trigger finger which sort of
gets stuck in one position. It happens with age. Along with frustration
and a strong one too. A frustration the likes of which begs the answer
to the question, "Why, Dear God, can't I do what I used to be
able to do?"

a lot.
