- VP Kevin Fernander verifies receipt of Ed Ward, MD's sample and describes
packaging. VP Fernander affirms the isotope ratio testing should be complete
in 7 to 10 days.

- Yesterday, VP Fernander's voice mail answers his office
phone. Fernander is out of town and returns my call. Fernander states,
"project manager in charge of the (Ed Ward's) sample left us (AAL)."
Fernander assures me that he will check with the lab and let me know.
No response for several hours. Phone call to AAL's David (Project Manager)
knows nothing of the sample. He assures me that he will contact Fernander
and get back to me.

- Today, VP Fernander's voice mail answers his office phone.
A phone call to AAL's Sheryl (Front Office) produced no knowledge of Ed
Ward's sample. She assures me that AAL will check with Fernander and David
and return my call.

- 6 pm today, no returned calls.

- Sure looks like something strange is going on at AAL.
It is starting to look as though the sample has vanished and no one is
able to say anything about it.
