UFO Hovering At 190 Degrees To Port Plays Havoc Aboard Cutter Acushnet In 1977

HBCC UFO Research Note: Here is another example of what I believe to be a cover up as the witnesses mentions in his letter/report. I know I have personally heard many stories from servicemen and woman who along with their shipmates have been witness to some unusual crafts which were maneuvering in ways that are not known here on earth.

Message: I saw a UFO in 1977 while serving on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Acushnet. It messed with our communications and compasses, and was redirected by 2 Phantoms which appeared suddenly. The Log Book was removed. Can you say cover up?

Additional Information:

Well, Sir, I was a (removed by HBCC due to it giving away who this person was/is). I was coming on watch when the General Quarters alarm went off. We'd lost steering while towing a Giant new "Meteorological" buoy toward Cuba. (Get it?) As I entered the Bridge I was also informed that the electronics and auxiliary were malfunctioning. It was an old ship, so I wasn't overly freaked until I saw what everyone was staring up at. Prototypical Saucer with lights hovering at 190 degrees to port, and at 1000 yards elevated. The tow line was limp, and the buoy shrouded in a bizarre fog. Two Phantoms sped toward it at an angle above/abeam and it moved at incredible speed vertical/zig-zag until out of sight (about 4 seconds). After a brief meeting in the C/O's cabin, the log I was keeping was replaced, and I was told by a 1st class P.O. who moments before sounded like he was crapping bricks from his bow station ("Get me someone else down here!"). That it never happened, and if I know what's good for me I won't say anything more about it. Detailed enough?

1. They know all about what's going on, and may have been told to cover it up by these invaders, and 2. Considering how these things seem to have the brains to know what to observe and how to travel like they do, I'm afraid there isn't a damn thing we can do about it. Except pray that they're friendly.

Witnesses: Two witnesses. Other Details: The witnesses had observed a bright light over the ocean for several minutes as they talked, but guessed it was a star, as it barely moved. Only when they looked back and saw that it had moved in front of a cloud did one go to grab the video camera.

West of the Blue Mountains, New South Wales Australia

Date: July 1, 2006 Time: Afternoon

Witnesses: One witness. Other Details: This stunning footage was from a passenger jet, shortly after take-off from Sydney. Estimates suggest it was taken near to the Blue Mountains. She had been filming for several minutes when this object passed the window. The object is difficult to see (especially in the Windows version of the clip) but it is there. In the first part of the clip, it flies from right to left, behind the wing. In the second half of the clip, it rises from the cloud, before flying to the left. The object is tiny at this point, but just about visible.

Pendle Hill, New South Wales Australia

Date: June 29, 2006 Time: Early evening

Witnesses: Twelve witnesses Other Details: Shot in the early evening from a back garden. Other witnesses were gathered in the street at the front of the house. Although the video shows lights only, some witnesses claim they could see a solid object. This was disputed by others. (NOTE: this is second-hand information from our witness.) Also note that when the lights appear to turn into diamond-shapes, this is an artefact of the video-camera going out-of focus.

St. Marys, New South Wales Australia

Date: July 5, 2006 Time: Evening

Witnesses: Four witnesses Other Deatails: Two children reportedly saw orange balls of light over the mountains. They eventually convinced their father and elder brother to come outside with the video camera, and this is what they filmed. The two children didn't see the disc, and the adults never saw the orange balls of light! NOTE: the object almost completely vanishes while still in frame.

Witnesses: One witness. Other Details: This clip was shot on a mobile phone. Until now I've had a strict policy of using clips only when I'm provided with a camera-tape. Having an original tape helps verify authenticity (and authorship). When something is shot on a phone, there is no camera tape! With that in mind, mobile-phone clips will be accepted from now on, but I will need to speak to witnesses personally rather than just accepting e-mailed clips.

London, England UK White Light Emerges From Another

Date: August 7, 2005 Time: N/A

Full Description of event/sighting: I was staying at my best mate's house and just staring out the window trying to get to sleep. What I originally thought was a star began to move and stop in communication with me. It was no optical illusion, I repeatedly "tested" it in disbelief, simply requesting it to move to another spot in the sky. I got up and out of the bed and then lay down again to make sure it wasn't a dream. On about 20 occasions I would test it because it was just such an unbelievable event. At one point another dot of light came out of it and flew away out of sight. At other times objects would fly from different places past the sky within my view, stop, and interact with the main object. On at least one occasion an object with different characteristics (more like a probe - smaller and flashing red) would fly in and replace the original light and that light would then fly off.

They did not move at great speed usually, occasionally going quite fast. The most objects within view at one time was three or four. I felt like there was a mental connection there, I couldn't stop smiling. Also an innocuous looking light on the wall in the room which originally appeared to be from houses or streetlights outside turned off without any change to the lighting from those sources. I looked away at one point then looked back to see a reasonably symmetrical triangular cloud covering the whole area of sky in which the incident took place, only for the objects eventually to reappear. The whole incident lasted probably between an hour and two hours, I think I fell asleep before they disappeared.

The most astonishing thing about this whole encounter which I realized the next day was that I had had a dream (I rarely remember dreams) a few nights before in which I saw a white light emerge from another white light in the exact same area of sky and many of the things I had done that day were also unmistakably mirrored in the dream. The entire series of events has led me to believe premonitions, telepathic communication and UFO are real, whoever pilots them. For all I know they are creatures made of white light! I try not to let it change me consciously because ultimately whatever it was doesn't affect my day-to-day life, but I think I've been a lot more relaxed and content generally since then.

Additional Information:

I had no photographic equipment on me and no video phone or anything like that. I did think it would be an amazing thing to document, but the experience itself was enough for me. I didn't even want to get up to make sure I wasn't dreaming because my friend's parents are reasonably strict and I didn't want to make any noise as a guest. I didn't even tell my best mate until about a month ago because I didn't want to impose my experience on anyone I knew for a host of reasons. I have seen anomalous objects at other times, but nothing that could really compare to this experience. If I ever encounter anything like this again in the same place I think I'll take the risk of making some noise in order for my friend to see it!

Hamilton, Ontario Two Triangular Objects Flying At Low Speed

On March 11, 2006 around 10:30 11:00pm I was looking up into the stars on my back porch and all of a sudden I seen these two triangular objects and they were flying low at low speeds and they had orange circle lights on each side and I ran in to tell my mom and once she got out I could barely see them anymore. On a website they only saw that object in Belgium in 1989 and 1990 and the pictures they showed were the exact same as the Objects I seen. No one ever believes me when I tell them but just wait till they see a UFO sighting.

Hamilton, Ontario Low Flying Large Bright White Light

Date: July 4, 2006 Time: 10:30 p.m.

Message: I live in Hamilton, Ontario and on July 4th around 10:30pm I was chilling with my friend and he grabbed my arm and said look. I looked to where he was pointing and it was a big bright white light and I was about 2 streets away from it and it was flying low and at low speeds. Anyways I jumped on my bike and road of towards it. Once I got about half a street away from it I could barely see it because it was going over houses. So I got on Parkdale and by the time I got on there the bright light should have been flying over, but I didn't see anything. I went onto the side street where the houses were when it was flying over and I still couldn't see anything. It's like it disappeared. This wasn't no plane or anything, this thing was pretty big and noticeable. This not my first time seeing a UFO sighting.

BTW: Aylmer is just across and up river a kilometer or so from me; tie in with another recent sighting posted on your site.

Sighting lasted about 5 minutes, mostly from a distance of a kilometer or so.

Event: Just stepped out onto my balcony when I spotted a set of lights to my left about 45-60 degrees above horizon just coming into view above roof top of the 9 story apartment building I live in. Wanted to identify what type of "plane" it was and thought of getting my binoculars but decided to use my video recorder. Went inside and grabbed my camcorder. Went back onto balcony within 30 seconds. Object was now further away and still heading westward towards a tall apartment building about a kilometer away. Started recording while holding camcorder. Tried to keep object and tree-line in frame as it headed northward. Used night shot mode when it was hard to make out as it seemed to be getting further away.

Seemed to have only three lights on it with one that pulsated slowly on and off. The object then started heading eastward in my direction. I kept zooming in and out while trying to get a clear and steady picture. It seemed to be moving along the shoreline and when it got abreast of me, was no more that 15 degrees elevation from my 4th floor balcony position and a couple of hundred meters off. The while time I saw it only through the viewfinder. As it was passing out of sight by the side of my building is when I thought the light formation strange. They represented a triangle formation however, upon viewing the video, an unexpected shape is what is presented.

Hanmer, Ontario Multiple UFO Sightings In Ontario

Date: Last 3 weeks ( July 2006) Time: 11:00 - 4:00 a.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: In the last 3 weeks I have been checking online to see if there has been an increase of UFO sightings in Ontario. Almost every night between 11:00 - 4:00am myself and my friend have seen sphere like UFOs. Some nights we see nothing, but we could actually say that we have witnessed these sightings at least twice a week. The sightings started around June 21st.

First UFO we did see looked like a lit up xmas tree. On that same night we also seen a very weird looking UFO, this one was sphere shaped and hovered very strangely.

In the last 5 years, Sudbury and sourrounding areas have been a hotspot for sightings. Why no one has reported any is beyond me. But you ask people living in this city if they have seen anything strange and you would be amazed. Someone really needs to investigate Northern Ontario.

Full Description of event/sighting: I had gotten up to use the bathroom and was talking to my daughter on the phone when I looked out the window and noticed a very bright light out over our back field,at first I thought it was a plane but without any hesitation it shot off like a rocket and was gone. My daughter was listening to me describe it to her and said I was going crazy. Two nights later I saw it again only this time it changed to bright red before it shot off it was about the same time and I had gotten up to let the dog out.

Between Hungry Valley & Los Angeles, California Blinking Light

Date: July 9, 2006 Time: 10:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Hi-way 5 between Hungry Valley and San Los Angeles Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 2 Shape of objects: Flashing light.

Full Description of event/sighting: I am just here in US for training, so I am not that really familiar with the places here but I was sure that we are driving along Interstate 5 maybe between Hungry Valley and San Fernando as I look on the map (as we drove another 2 hours when we reached lake forest). We came from San Francisco for weekend and heading back to Lake Forest where we staying at, when on our left I saw a blinking bright white light flying mountain-high level with frequency of 1 and a half second each blink, north-west in direction. Then 15 minutes passed we saw a brush fire on foot of the mountain as we approached near. Then minutes passed, before we reached Los Angeles I saw again the same blinking light on top of the mountain on our right, then I heard that news that San Bernardino is also burning (don't know if it started on Sunday). I was thinking that these "light" that we saw may had something to do with the fires. If I was wrong on what I saw, can somebody explain that thing or phenomenon, a blinking bright light I'm sure not a plane because it they fly so low.

Sevenoaks, Kent England UK A Spherical Shaped Metallic Or Silver UFO

Date: July 11, 2006 Time: Approx: 11:15 a.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: Whilst on my tea break I looked up to see the object. It immediately looked out of place, as I'd never seen anything so distinctly unfamiliar before. It certainly appeared to be completely spherical, with no extra appendages. The day was bright and sunny with a few clouds around. Against the blue sky the object appeared metallic or silver in colour. When passing below a cloud it just showed as dark/black. From this view I was certain it was not transparent. It traveled very slowly indeed, in fact I had to start work again before the object was out of sight. I guess I observed the object for about 3 to 5 minutes.

Then about 3 minutes later I located it in the sky again and watched for about a minute. Over the last few years I have taken to watching the sky, when time allows, and I can safely say I never seen anything like this before (excluding other online UFO reports). I suppose the first thought by many people would be that I had observed a hot air balloon or even an escaped party balloon. All I can say is that I have seen all these before and they bore little resemblance to the object I saw. Both hot air balloons and party balloons generally have ropes, baskets or string hanging from the bottom and are very rarely exactly spherical.

Do weather balloons exist and what do they look like? Could this have been one, do you think? Incidentally, when I pointed it out to my colleague his response was "it could be one of those pole stars". Quite what he meant by that I don't know, but if nothing else it shows that his first reaction was not to suggest something mundane like a balloon. I hope this interests you and I'd be pleased to know your thoughts on my report. If I can give you any further info' you only need to ask.

Farmington, New York Area Did I Warp Through Time And Space - Baffled !

HBCC UFO Research Note: Now this is pretty interesting what the person wrote below. Although it doesn't appear to be UFO related, (maybe) this is certainly unusual. I have heard the odd story like this before and of course could not come up with any conclusions to what happened. This is a mystery! I also would be interested if anyone else from the Fingers Lake Region of New York and surrounding areas have been through something like this person went through. If so, would you please contact me at HBCC UFO Research.

Date: July 11, 2006 Time: Between 10:00 - 10:40 p.m.

Message: Last night I experienced something very, very strange, yet nothing as exciting as seeing a flying object or anything like that. But first let me say how I came to find your sight...

I am visiting the Fingers Lake Region of NY for work this week. Today, immediately after I got back to my hotel, I searched google to try to find possible answers as to what happened to me last night, and oddly enough, an article from your sight appeared first, and more oddly, the article's subject had a similar experience to mine in the same location, Ontario County of NY.

Here's the story. I am staying in Farmington, NY at a hotel on State Rte 96. I was bored last night, so I decided to head to a mall that I was told would be about 6 or so miles away heading North on 96. I got in my car at 8:30 and drove to the mall, despite a severe thunderstorm and torrential downpours. Sure enough, even with the horrible road conditions, I was at the mall in 10 minutes (give or take a minute), which was on Rte 96 (I made no turns at all).

At 10:00pm the mall closed. The storm had let up, but a great lightning show was still visible. As soon as I got in my car I called my wife at home. I drove out of the parking lot and began my drive back to the hotel going back the way I had came (now heading South on Rte 96). My wife and I talked for about 2 minutes when my signal was lost (nothing new there). I immediately recalled her and began talking about something other than we had been talking about. Nothing unusual yet.

However, about 5 minutes after I had left the mall parking lot (or so it seemed), I crossed a set of RR tracks. I commented to my wife that this was strange, as I didn't remember crossing any tracks on my way to the mall. However, I passed it off as a missed detail as I was trying to drive in terrible weather conditions. Soon, I crossed another set of RR tracks. I then realized I hadn't seen any of the landmarks I had remembered on my way going to the mall from the hotel (such as a large supermarket, the downtown of Victor, NY, and a major intersection with Rte 332 - which has multiple lanes and has traffic lights, among other landmarks I had noticed).

By the time I reached a third set of tracks, I knew something was wrong, so I hung up with my wife so I could sort myself out. The time was now 10:40, thirty minutes longer than it should have taken me to get back, especially as now it was not raining and there was no traffic at all. I figured I must have somehow or other gone the wrong way out of the mall parking lot, especially as I was now entering Waterloo, NY (I had no idea where Waterloo was in relation to Framingham, but I did know it was not near where my hotel was). So I turned around, figuring I had at least a 50 minute drive now to get back to my hotel, which upset me as I had to be at work early the next morning.

Within a couple minutes it hit me that something amazing had just happened to me. I arrived at my hotel, but I was going North on 96.

Let me clarify: I left point "A" and headed north on a single road to reach point "B". I then left point "B" to return to point "A" by traveling on the exact same route south. However, without ever passing point "A" or any of the recognizable landmarks from about one minute after leaving point "B", I arrived at point "C" (my turnaround point). I then drove north again, this time reaching point "A" within a few short minutes.

So somehow I managed to, for a total lack of a better term, warp through time and space, going directly from point "B" to point "C" while impossibly avoiding point "A" which lies between the two.

Let me now state that I don't drink or do any drugs. I was fully awake, and in fact, I was extra alert as I was looking for the Subway restaurant that is near my hotel for some food, and I had also seen a deer on the side of the road and had my eyes peeled as to not hit one crossing the road. It is absolutely beyond all reason that I could have driven through the town of Victor, passed the illuminated and large intersection of 96 and 332, and missed the large and well lit sign for my hotel. But it happened. At first I thought I was just stupid for turning the wrong way out of the mall parking lot, but when I saw my hotel on my left instead of my right, I knew I wasn't stupid, but was scared. So much so that as soon as I checked the map that I had left in my hotel room (why would I need it to take one road to a mall and then straight back) and truly realized the incredibleness of what happened, I called my wife and woke her up to tell her what happened.

Today after work I redrove the route and confirmed that it was plain impossible that I had just "zoned out" or something and drove through Victor and Farmingham without realizing it. I am very sane and logical, but this defies sanity or logic.

And as far as looking for illogical possibilities such as a UFO abduction or something (yes, I believe they happen, but the chances of it are as good as getting eaten by a shark at the same time you win the lottery), there is no physical evidence at all, or any other evidence that anything at all had occurred out of the ordinary, except what I know to be fact, not so much missing time, but missing space.

So, with that, any ideas what's going on here? I am very, very confused, and more curious than frightened. But a second time of this may lead me quickly to fear.

Perth, Western Australia A Fireball And Metal Cylinder Spinning

Date: July 12, 2006 Time: 8.15 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Off the coast in the northern suburbs. Number of witnesses: 2 Number of objects: 2-3 Shape of objects: Fireball and metal cylinder spinning.

Full Description of event/sighting: Firstly we see the fireball which looks like a flare moving horizontally across sky then it slows to a stop and after about 2 minutes it descends past where I can see. When I replay the digital camcorder we see another bright light buzzing it, it moves very quickly across the screen and stops short of the fireball then holds for a moment and then darts left to right and moves to the opposite side of the ball, it the seems to move away from it. As I zoom in I can see a metal bin looking object spinning ?

Rue St Marie, Quebec 3 Lights Forming A Big Perfect Triangle

Date: July 12, 2006 Time: 10:15 pm -10:30 p.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was unloading my motorcycle from the trailer, and I suddenly look up to see no higher than 1000 feet 3 lights forming a big perfect triangle. The color was reddish orange, but almost looked like fire, and it did not blink. It moved pretty slow, a really relaxed speed, and there was no sound at all. The sky was clear you could see stars. My first impression was that I was 1 big object in the shape of a triangle, but after running inside to get my mother and her husband to run and see it, one of them had vanished.

So next thing you know the 2 remaining, changed directions, and kept moving at the same speed as earlier, but the 2 were also getting closer to one another, until they basically touched and crossed each other, then as they were separating again, 1 started to dim out until vanishing, and then the 1 remaining started to dim out and vanished too. And that was it. And as my friend describes the vanishing part, it looked like fire going out. I always been a believer, and thought I saw odd fast things in the night skies once in a while, but nothing like this, nothing ! This was what you see in movies, or X Files, or even better on UFO documentaries. But it was there live right over my head. I'm grateful to have seen this, I just wonder why I haven't heard no other people saying they saw it too.

Gatineau, Quebec Three Orange Lights In A Triangle Formation

Full Description of event/sighting: I was walking up the stairs from my house when I saw through the window, three orange lights in a triangle formation. I asked my wife to go on our balcony to see/confirm that I she was seeing the same thing. I then went a grabbed my camera, by then one of the lights had disappeared. I still managed to capture two light formation. On the photos you can see two orange lights. On the next day, and at the same time I decided to capture a plane flying in the sky at the same settings for comparisons. What I shot on the 12th are definitely not planes...

Centerville, Montana A Round Fireball

Date: July 13, 2006 Time: 11:30 p.m.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was sitting in yard at night when I observed an object for approximately 5 seconds. It was moving in a south to north trajectory. Moving much faster than aircraft. I expected to see flash from impact, but no flash observed. The size would have been approximately that of commercial airliner in flames. A gestimate of the impact, Northern Montana/Canada.

Full Description of event/sighting: Hi Brian, while talking with friends in the backyard tonight, a girlfriend of mine saw an object in the sky travelling from South-West through North-East passing just above the house. We all looked at the object that looked like a reddish kite-like thing travelling extremely fast without any sounds or lights. It wasn't very high and it travelled so fast that in about 10 to 15 seconds it had disappereared over an apartment building...

Kind of a weird sighting, we still are, at the time I'm writing this message, wondering what it could be but no one has a very good idea. No lights, no sounds, certainly not a bird nor a plane or balloon.

Tempe, Arizona More Folks Having Strange Loss On Time

My wife and I were on a road trip in an RV camper belonging to a friend we were traveling with. We were in Tempe, Arizona and were simply going from exit to the next, to the grocery store. I got on the highway at the first exit on-ramp, and as we were waiting to see the next exit sign, I simply noticed how tired I was, tired of driving, and said to her, "I thought this store was only one exit away? It seems like we've been driving forever!" Just then the sign for the exit came up. She looked at her watch and noted that we had been driving for 4 hours. The exits are only a couple of miles apart, being right in the city. That's all I can say except that when I told this story to my dad later on, he said that he has heard similar stories related to Highway 10, and he is the most no-nonsense type of guy there is.
