JT8D Engine Or Rusty
Trailer: You Decide.

Once again we are brought back to the idea of an A3 Skywarrior hitting the Pentagon. My last treatment of that on Rense (1) so far has not been responded to with any new evidence or factual response from either Jon Carlson or Karl Schwarz. In fact, Karl recently made the following statement since my article, "I am the person that first put on the table that it was an A3 Skywarrior that hit the Pentagon. Many believe that and many others have gone out of their way to dispute it, unsuccessfully thus far (2)."

Jon Carlson has also resurfaced with a restatement of the rusty trailer/JT8D theory (3). Jon's original argument to support Karl's theory is that debris from a rusty construction trailer is actually a JT8D engine. The purpose of this article is to present alternative evidence to that theory and to look at whether or not there is an aircraft wing in any of the photos as Jon now states.

9/11 and what happened that day is the most important subject in the world to me personally. It has been used to justify evil beyond words. My intention is to be truthful and honest in all research related to it. I have made many attempts to communicate with Karl and Jon. They do not respond with evidence and discussion. I believe the purpose of research should be to present a substantial, factual case to encourage the average American citizen in discovering the truth.

This will be heavy on photos because I want to be thorough and put this in a way that it can't be brought up again without addressing evidence.

First of all let's look at why Jon believes the rusty trailer is an entire 727, 737, or A3 engine. We'll forget the fact that there is absolutely NO mention of a JT8D engine ever being used on an A3 Skywarrior anywhere.

The photo above/left is what I believe to be part of a construction trailer damaged at the Pentagon. The photo on the right is a cut-away of a JT8D engine from a museum. Jon believes the "similarity" at the seam justifies the assumption that it is therefore the same thing. That is the only evidence he presents (4).

This is actually what a JT8D would look like AFTER the outer fairings had been removed.

This graphic shows two construction trailers at the Pentagon on two different dates.. You can see one larger trailer and one smaller. It would be typical to have an office trailer (the larger one) and a storage trailer (the smaller one). There were many quotes from witnesses mentioning the trailers. In the following quotes we can see at least one of them was used for storage.

Lee Evey

"The plane approached the Pentagon about 6 feet off the ground, clipping a light pole, a car antenna, a construction trailer and an emergency generator before slicing into the building," said Lee Evey, the manager of the Pentagon,s ongoing billion-dollar renovation.

Sgt. William Lagasse

"and struck a trailer used to store construction equipment for the renovation of the Pentagon"

Assit. Chief Belvoir F.D. Russell "Rusty Dodge Jr.

"construction trailer which was producing some severe fires and subsequent mini-explosions due to highly flammable chemicals in it"

Here is a typical office trailer and an access stair system. The stairs are sometimes made with grating and sometimes with diamond plating. We will consider the diamond plating later.

Here is a typical storage trailer with features highlighted. Unfortunately I couldn't find an image of the interior support structures.

Compare this to the photo above. The only difference might be is that the example trailer is lighter-duty. This is also the exact location of the smaller and northern most trailer in the photo of the front of the Pentagon. The vehicle on the left was a Jeep Cherokee. It's width is approximately 5.75 feet. The JT8D engine is up to 12.8 feet. It is near impossible to picture from this how far the trailer is behind the car because of the foreshortening of the telephoto lens. But even from this view it appears the item purported to be the JT8D engine is longer than 12.8 feet. The next photo will give you some sense of how far apart they are and how large the item may be in relation to the Jeep.

That is how a lens can trick you. To check that this is the actual location of the trailer look at the tree by the Jeep and compare it to the photo of the trailers in front of the Pentagon. Also note the corner of the collapse and compare it to the following photos.

This shows a couple of different views of the trailer remnants.

In Jon's latest addition he claims there is a wing in the photos now besides a whole engine just sitting there. Note the labeled piece.

This shows a lot of debris that looks very "trailer like". This photo again reminds us of the lens effect, especially now that we know how far away the Jeep and the trailer really are.

Here is what Jon claims is a wing. I believe the diamond plating is possibly from the trailer steps and that the ribbed aluminum and the other light metal piece there are pieces from a trailer - certainly not an A3 Skywarrior. So let's test our theory. If there were two trailers there we could assume that there might be similar debris in the area.

This looks very "trailer like" and is in the same area of the collapse zone. It even has ribs.

This may be the same piece as directly above. I guess the next question is, "how would they haul away a rusty piece of trailer?"

A crane. Then they would pile it somewhere.

Here is a debris pile that has a lot of pieces that look like trailer components including what appears to be insulation.

The circumstantial evidence that gets overlooked is the fact that EVERYBODY agreed on the fact that there were no major aircraft structures evident at the Pentagon.

JAMIE MCINTYRE, Sr. Pentagon Correspondent

"You know, it might have appeared that way, but from my close-up inspection, there's no evidence of a plane having crashed anywhere near the Pentagon. The only site is the actual site of the building that's crashed in, and as I said, the only pieces left that you can see are small enough that you can pick up in your hand. There are no large tail sections, wing sections, fuselage, nothing like that anywhere around, which would indicate that the entire plane crashed into the side of the Pentagon and then caused the side to collapse. Now, even though if you look at the pictures of the Pentagon you see that the floors have all collapsed; that didn't happen immediately....."

Jamie was right there with a video camera. It seems somebody would've mentioned a whole jet engine sitting there.

My conclusion is that part of what Jon has been using as evidence for the A3 Skywarrior theory was actually a construction trailer. It is very evident that what Jon tried to call a wing was actually a piece of diamond plating. Normally I try and keep my evaluations impersonal. But when you have two people who avoid discussion and evidence while relentlessly pushing a theory, I have to address them personally as to their motives for not addressing facts when there is so much at stake.
