- Bill Gibbons is fed up to his ears with
the criminals in Washington. And he's proud to call himself a "Populist
American," not willing to compromise his God-given rights of freedom
and liberty in the face of what he calls a fascist hijacking of his country
and its Constitution.
-
- Gibbons is just another example of an
average American do above average things while trying desperately to alert
his fellow citizens of the neo con takeover before its too late.
-
- And to try and get some action and in
memory of his wife Betty who died in 2004, Gibbons started an extensive
gathering of material on his web site at www.gnrevival.com as well as writing
two books entitled The American Gestapo and The New American Revolution.
-
- "This is a real populist web
site and we believe that God Almighty is in command of all the earth,"
said Gibbons. "We believe in less government, war only in defense
of our home and that nobody is above the law. We are against unlimited
immigration and believe that all illegal immigrants should be deported
immediately."
-
- Gibbons, who feels the Constitution and
the very future of his country is now at stake, recently wrote the following
warning to the American people, trying to wake them up before it's too
late:
-
- "Let us see if we have this straight:
The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land and all federal elected
politicians as well as all federal bureaucrats take an oath to uphold the
Constitution. Are we right so far?
-
- "Of course we are right, because
we have a copy of the oath that senators and congressmen take upon assuming
office. Our elected representatives and senators break the law, but we
do not send them to jail,
-
- "Now what happens when these elected
persons and bureaucrats do not keep their word? Would I be right in assuming
that they have broken the law, because they did not obey the Constitution?
If you will remember, the federal government sent Martha Stewart to jail
for lying to federal investigators, which is not a crime.
-
- "Ms Stewart was not under oath when
she was supposed to have lied. I say supposed to have lied, because the
government never did prove that she did lie. So, if a business woman like
Martha Stewart can go to jail for lying to federal investigators, would
it not be right to send congressmen and senators to jail for lying to the
public by not keeping their word to obey the Constitution?
-
- "They certainly do lie when they
swear to do one thing and do the opposite. They take an oath to obey and
support the Constitution, but turn around and trash the Constitution every
day. George Bush, the highest elected official in the country said, "The
Constitution is just piece of paper and pays no attention to his
oath of office. Can anyone show me the difference in the two cases? I fail
to see any difference myself.
-
- "With this thought in mind let us
examine the facts for a few minutes. The Constitution is the LAW and breaking
any law is a crime. Criminals are supposed to be in jail. Voting for legislation
that is directly opposed to the Constitution certainly is breaking the
law. We know that the justice department is anxious when it comes to putting
people in jail, whether they are guilty or not, or whether they are elected
officials or not. Congressman Jim Traficant, democrat from Ohio, comes
to mind. Anyone playing with a full deck knows that Traficant was railroaded
to prison because he was a "die-hard Constitutionalists".
-
- "He always had the highest record
concerning votes to uphold the Constitution in congress or the senate.
Jim is in jail, while the worst violators of the Constitution, like Teddy
Kennedy, are running free in Washington. These two-faced lying hypocrites
in the House of Representatives had the gall to expel him from congress
as being undesirable. How could anyone vote to oust one of the few honest
men in congress as being undesirable and still look at their faces in the
mirror?
-
- Article Ten of the Constitution is very
clear and it does not take a rocket scientist to know what it means: "The
powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, not prohibited
by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, OR TO THE
PEOPLE."
-
- Do you have any problem understanding
that amendment? Of course not, lawyers did not write it. Allow me to throw
this little antidote in here. I was watching an old movie, where this black
man's kid was before the judge for the fourth time. The judge was browbeating
the poor old fellow, because he was thinking. Finally the old gentlemen
said, "Yo honor, I can't talk without thinking, I ain't no lawyer."
-
- "Everyone should read the Constitution,
for it is a simple document. If you did read it you would find that about
95-to99 % of all that the federal government does is unconstitutional.
Where does the Constitution mention education, or aid to education, foreign
aid, social security, Medicare, aid to children, or any one of hundreds
of programs that the federal government is involved in? Any member of congress
that votes for federal aid to education or foreign aid is breaking the
law, which makes him a criminal and demands that he go to jail with the
rest of the criminals. Are we right so far, or are we just being paranoid.
-
- "Now comes this thought for you
to consider: Ignorance of the law is no excuse and any cop or judge will
tell you that. If a congressman or senator says they did not know that
the Constitution is the law or that they were breaking the law that is
no excuse and they should still go to the slammer with the rest of the
criminals. There should be a Committee on the Constitution in each house
to see that no legislation even reaches the floor that violates the Constitution.
-
- "One final thought: The Bill of
Rights is just that "A Bill of Right". We citizens have
always had the rights; they were not given to us by a benevolent government.
The Bill of Rights was drafted to see that the government does not violate
these rights, which are already ours."
