- Summary
-
- From a successful attempt to solve a major problem in
physics, known as the "Cosmological Constant", a theory emerges
in which true reality is provided by the "i-ther": a real background
medium extending to the very edge of the universe.
-
- The i-ther has a filamentous structure joined by cores
all embedded in a self-creating fluid of primary particles, according to
the mathematics that provides this solution.
-
- The structure has similarities to the neural networks
of our brains but exists, not as matter, but at a sub-quantum level of
reality. It is shown that the structure generates power in the form of
waves, so enabling the next higher level of reality, the quantum level
based on "wave mechanics", to exist.
-
- It is speculated that the structure could have evolved
intelligence over aeons of time so that the waves, spontaneously generated,
could be organised to create the impression that real elementary particles
of matter exist, governed by four forces of nature.
-
- What we call "atoms" are produced by the organisation
of real quantum waves at the quantum level and, assembled in huge numbers,
such atoms give rise to the "macroscopic" level of common experience.
On this model the quantum and macroscopic levels now appear as contrived
by a universal sub-conscious mind: the only true reality.
-
- The brain of matter could have its own consciousness.
If, however, the emerging theory described here is to explain the entire
spectrum of psychic phenomena as potentially real effects, inclusive of
survival of bodily death, as it does, then an exact replica of brain structure
needs to be continually copied into the i-ther.
-
- A quantum theory of gravity also emerges, based on density
gradients of the i-ther, which are produced as a side effect of the real
quantum waves used to create the illusion of matter. These have mathematically
similar effects to Einstein's curved space-time but, unlike relativity
theory, this replacement does not suffer from internal contradiction or
incompatibility with quantum theory (it is quantum based!).Hence the elements
of "Grand Unification" have emerged, that includes the "paranormal"
and has an exceptionally simple basis: an "opposed energy dynamics"
that describes how energy in two complementary forms can appear from the
void.
-
- A more detailed description was published in "Frontier
Perspectives" in 1997 that contains illustrations and has the title
Consciousness as a Sub-Quantum phenomenon.
