I don't think Bush wanted Schiavo alive at all; otherwise, he could have easily sent in US Marshalls to save her rather than stage this ridiculous dog and pony show with Congress that made him look good and did nothing to help her.

Or, since he is such a bible scholar, he could have reminded the public that the Bible says "Thou shalt not kill," St. Matthew's Gospel says that "when I was hungry, you gave me food....thirsty, and you gave me drink." The same gospel says that the uncharitable who refuse to do so will go to Hell.

While Bush was at it, he could have invited the Pinellas Park police to arrest Michael Schiavo on charges of attempted murder. Or, he could have just said "Look, I'm sick of this nonsense. I'm going down there to give her water myself. I invite the rest of America to do the same."

Why didn't he do any of that? Because his family has been supporting eugenics since they financed Adolf Hitler, that's why, and I don't think they want invalids or useless eaters to take up any more of their precious time and money.

Sincerely,
Miss Ross

Hello Jeff,

Anwar Hussain's article from the Baltimore Chronicle is without doubt one of the most searing and shocking articles you've posted in a long time. Though I sympathized with those who felt badly about Terry Shiavo and about what happened to her, and though there is certainly cause for concern and scrutiny whenever the government ordains the death of anyone at all, there is also cause for scrutiny WHENEVER foul, loathsome and murderous monsters from HELL like Bush and company "support" or endorse anything. The unimaginably HYPOCRITICAL Bushite "support" for Shiavo's "right to live", in the face of their incalculably vicious, satanic, soulless/heartless destruction of the PEOPLE, LAND and CULTURE of Iraq on a vast scale just literally takes the breath away -- for anyone with even a modicum of intelligence, compassion and human decency.

So many people in the US, as Hussain said, are in fact losing their very humanity, losing touch with everything important in human civilization.

I fear the US is becoming predominately a nation of soul-less, murderous monsters -- or at least, a nation of those who TOLERATE (at least) such soulless, heartless, murderous MONSTROUS actions by THEIR government and its agents, agencies and military forces.

The US is creating HELL ON EARTH -- and so many of the American people don't seem to even give a shit. Horrifying.

All the best,
Bob Anderson
