President
Hamid Karzai will arrive in Iran on Wednesday to sign cooperation
agreements
in different spheres.

- "Mr. Karzai is expected to meet with Iranian top
officials to discuss development of bilateral cooperation in different
spheres. A number of documents will be signed following the talks,"
a source in the Iranian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti on
Tuesday.

- Moreover, the Afghan and Iranian leaders will participate
in the ceremony of commissioning the Dogharun (Khorasan province, Iran)
- Herat (Herat province, Afghanistan) highway, RIA Novosti's interlocutor
added.

- The 132-km long highway is to play an important role
in the development of exports and goods transit to Afghanistan, the source
noted.
