- It has been said that the last refuge of a scoundrel
is prayer. An equally accurate statement is that the FIRST refuge of a
scoundrel is a LIE.
-
- The philosophy of any dictator is, "The bigger the
lie, the more it will be believed." Why is this? To use another apt
cliche, a lie can travel half-way around the world before the truth can
get its pants on.
-
- It is very likely that dishonesty - both with others
and oneself - is the root cause of all mental illness. In 12-step programs,
participants are taught that they are only as sick as the lies that they
tell. Your lies will keep you in bondage, but the truth will set you free.
-
- I don't like to make personal wars a matter of public
record, but it would seem I am being left with no choice. I am sorry to
report that certain people are enthusiastically lying about me. Websites
that run my articles are being harassed and bombarded with fictional accusations
against me; my email has either been hacked into or impersonated; and I'm
receiving repeated, bizarre messages from individuals who tell ludicrous
stories in an apparent attempt to "bait" me into discrediting
myself.
-
- Two nights ago, I received an email from a person I've
been corresponding with for the last month. He or she flat out accused
me of sending him or her an email VIRUS. This person forwarded the accusation
to every major alternative newsservice that has ever or might ever run
my articles. Of course, the allegation was false. I explained to this person
that I had not and WOULD NOT ever send anyone a virus. Several people who
read this accusation immediately responded, explaining that email viruses
are easily made to appear as though they have come from people who did
not send them.
-
- The person who made the accusation did offer me a gracious
apology, and acknowledged the he or she was "likely in error."
I accepted this, and I am keeping this person's identity private, because
I believe he or she simply made an honest mistake, which can and does happen
to all of us.
-
- One of the individuals who responded to this was Rayelan
from Rumor Mill News (www.rumormillnews.com). Her comments were extremely
revealing, as she confirmed what I already suspected: a cabal of truly
wretched people are making an effort to harm me. Here are Rayelan's comments:
-
- "I doubt very seriously if Michael sent you any
email with a virus in it. I don't know Michael very well, but I do know
that someone out in 'internet land' would like to damage his reputation.
Which must mean that he is getting too close to the truth with some of
his posts.
-
- "Several weeks ago I had someone pretending to be
a famous person emailing me about michael . I was told that Michael was
plagerizing his work. I finally contacted the 'famous person' to see if
this was true. I contacted the 'famous person' several times, I even included
all the emails I had received about Michael. Either the 'famous person'
was too ashamed to email me back, or he had nothing to do with sending
the emails to me about Michael. He never answered me. I made sure to 'cc'
the original person who had been emailing me... and the emails stopped."
(snip)
-
- In light of Rayelan's comments, I need to make note of
the fact that several weeks ago, I received a number of flaming emails
from people accusing me of "ripping off" the work of James McCanney.
These people claimed that McCanney was the "originator" of electric
comet theory, and that I was not giving him proper credit in my articles.
This allegation is patently false, and I have completely refuted it. As
I outlined in my article, "The True Origins of Electric Comet Theory,"
the theory did NOT "originate" with McCanney, and I have derived
NONE of my opinions from anything McCanney has said or written.
-
- Rather, my work is inspired by the thesis offered by
my father and the co-author of his forthcoming book "Thunderbolts
of the Gods," Wallace Thornhill. Here is an excerpt from my article,
addressing this: "McCanney did not 'originate' the electric comet
theory, because 1) the theory has roots in many 19th century speculations
about comets; 2) the catalytic work on the electric sun and electric comets
was that of the twentieth century pioneer Ralph Juergens, whose published
papers on the subject pre-date those of McCanney by several years; 3) Thornhill's
thesis was directly inspired by Juergens', whose work Thornhill diligently
followed from the beginning; 4) the hypothesis was favored by Thornhill,
to which he has added many nuances, and differs significantly from McCanney's;
and 5) the core of McCanney's thesis is thrown into doubt by space age
discovery, while Thornhill's is not." (END EXCERPT) Read the full

-
- Let me state this very clearly: I am not accusing Jim
McCanney of ANYTHING. Indeed, I have no reason to think that he has had
any involvement in these vicious and dishonest attacks against me. McCanney
is an accredited scientist, and I don't believe he would ever engage in
such juvenile and malicious activity. Rather, I think that a few individuals
who have hated me for years are simply using the McCanney issue as a means
to get at me. So let me repeat this AGAIN: I am not accusing McCanney of
ANYTHING...because I have no reason to think he has DONE anything.
-
- I'm wondering if I should cut and paste the above paragraph
twenty times, because these same liars who are attacking me will probably
use my comments to try and start a war between me and McCanney. This is
how pathetic these people are. They have nothing better to do with their
time than sneak around under a veil of darkness, lying, plotting, and scamming
to try and harm anyone they simply don't like. Did it ever occur to these
flaming morons that they might contribute something positive to the world?
-
- You need to understand that I have thrown down the GAUNTLET
to the most powerful people in the world of "alternative" research.
These people have thousands of fans, followers, minions, and devotees who
don't like to see their false gods brought down to earth. I criticize the
"elite" personalities, because they have done things that are
WORTHY of criticism. If anyone can find a single instance when I have said
or written anything untrue about any of these folks...I'd love to see it.
-
- Criticizing the "elite" (who are really anything
BUT) comes at a great personal cost. Royce Meyers III, the editor and proprietor
of UFOwatchdog.com, was recently sued by alleged psychic Sean David Morton,
over Meyers' extenstive published investigations into Morton's claims.
When Morton's day in court arrived, he was not able to produce evidence
of a single untrue claim by Meyers. The case was immediately thrown out,
and Morton was ordered to pay $16,000 in restitution to Meyers. However,
I suppose that Morton can claim some measure of personal "victory."
After all, he did waste an enormous amount of Meyers' time and energy with
his bogus allegation.
-
- I am now going to speak directly to the lying liars who
are so desperately trying to harm me. I am trying hard not to laugh as
I write this, because you are so genuinely laughable. You do not even possess
the intellect to posit legitimate disagreements with anything I have written.
You are so feeble-minded that you resort to sending pinched little emails
under the guise of phony aliases and plagiarized identities. Can you see
that you are no better than masked cat-burglars who lurch around in the
dead of night? Is this what you aspired to be when you were children? It
has taken me a full half-hour to write this post...and that's about 29
minutes and 30 seconds more time than you are worth. Integrity, honor,
and yes, most importantly HONESTY are values you clearly do not care for.
That is too bad, because in the end, you are only hurting yourselves.
-
- My last word to you is this: I have no idea why you hate
me so much, but if you are still intent on harming me, at least try to
have the brains and balls to come at me head on.
