Increasing Static Electricity
Linked To Pole Shift?

Jeff,

I love your program. I live in Hoboken NJ and work in downtown NYC. I have made an empirical observation of late and have come up with a theory.

Over the last two months I have been receiving static shocks more often then usual. The intensity of the shocks has been increased from normal. I have noticed the light bulbs have burnt out much quicker then normal. My girlfriend, with whom I live, has also commented on this occurrence. So, I did a test and here are the results.

From sitting on a leather chair and moving across the apt. and turning the light on out of 100 times I got a shock 65 times. Now, most will immediately say it was the carpet and socks you must have been wearing. Survey says: NO. I conducted this test naked and I have hard wood floors. I then checked the wiring and every thing was fine.

I did the same test with the bathroom light and received a shock 65 times out of 100. If you have also read that in NYC there are random electric charges very strong. One killed a woman and Con Edison can not figure out why it happened.

I believe there is something going on with the electromagnetic field. It might be that on June 22, when the poles are aligned, this will be intensified and there may be casualties. In the worst case, the magnetic poles could flip. I will keep you up to date after doing more tests.

This is NOT funny...and it is REALLY happening.

Twice in the last two weeks I have been getting static shocks from OUTSIDE elevator call buttons, with RUBBER soled shoes on, standing on blacktop and once on a STONE floor. I have NEVER in my life gotten static shocks OUTSIDE.

And this could be what caused all those car electronic locks here in Vegas to knock out a few weeks back as well. By the THOUSANDS.

Could we be headed for those huge mass electrical storms forecast by Art and Whitley in "Global Superstorm" after all?

This might just be the beginning.

Hi Jeff,

I'm a long time listener and visit your site everyday. I just read the article entitled 'Increasing Static Electricity Linked To Pole Shift?'.

I about fell out of my chair since I was having this same thought yesterday. I was noticing how every time I get up from my chair at work, it seems like my whole chair and monitor (I'm a programmer) seem to be electrified, almost like there is a magnetic attraction that is pulling me at me. You can hear the ticks and pops as I walk away. The amount of static definitely seems unusually high. I'm not sure if it's related to the pole shift, but it has been something I've noticed as well. Maybe it is linked somehow to the mysterious fires that are occurring in Italy??

Thanks for being there for all of us. You are a shining beacon in an otherwise dark world. Keep up the good fight, and may God bless and protect you!!

Jeff -

I'm so glad someone brought this up. I have not had so many static shock issues, but the light blub burnouts have been happening to me at an extremely frequent rate. I just asked some co-workers and they noticed it too. As a matter of fact, their ears really perked up because it had been on their mind for a while.... I can offer no theories other than a possible issue with the power grid. I'm wondering if the big blackout a while back had been a factor.

Here in the damp PNW I have been receiving static shocks for months, it happens way more frequently than in the past. I get them when I touch my dog, my cat, my car or any number of other items and people. It happens numerous times daily, regardless what I'm wearing on my feet or the amount of humidity in the air. I've been complaining of it to family and friends and they're having similar experiences, so I was blown away when I read this letter and the comments which follow it. It is obviously a much more widespread occurance than I realized.

Dear Jeff - I personally have not experienced the static electricity others have but we are having a magnetic pole shift! this well documented. Even thought I have problems with much of the information NASA does or does not choose to release go to NASA.gov Earth weather page archive dated 12/29/03 there's a well documented article showing the tracking data of how far the magnetic poles have moved in the last few years and even by there own data it has accelerated in the last few years it was about 10 km a year its now shifting at a rate of 40 km a year. they provide a map showing its movement. Yes, Jeff, we are having pole shift.

The recent article about the theory of earth's pole shifting was interesting to me because I have been noticing more static shocks lately myself. I'm a chiropractor and the last few weeks when touching patients I have been "shocking them" inadvertantly and I've never noticed that before. I have only been in this office for about 7 months but I've only noticed this ever happening during the last 4 weeks or so. I can't really comment on the whole earth pole thing because I know nothing about it. Up here in Montana we've had cattle mutilations and lots of ghost stuff going on recently--fun place!
