- George Bush claims to have been transferred to Alabama
in 1972, and I have seen the papers approving the transfer. However, the
transfer was apparently rescinded by the Director of Personnel Resources
because Mr. Bush was an "obligated reservist" (obligated until
5/26/74) and was "ineligible for assignment to an Air Reserve Squadron".
