Hi Jeff, I have
a photo of something you might want to share. I ran across what in my mind
was the most important discovery of the formation near Wilkie, Saskatchewan,
Canada. It is a abnormality found only in a small number of formations
over the years world wide but lately seems to be appearing more often.
Just below the head of the crop where the head joins the stem, a severe
twisting of the joining stem (see photo). This is the second time I have
came across this abnormality, the first time in 2001 at the Moosomin, Saskatchewan
dumbbell formation.. It would really be appreciated if we could put this
to your listeners or readers with a request to contact us at www.cccrn.ca
if they have ever come across this. After finding more of these throughout
the formation, any doubts I might of had about this formation soon disappeared.
