- I saw your pictures of "scoop marks" on rense.com,
and I have a very similar mark on my right knee. At first I thought it
was an insect or spider bite, but it didn't heal and it's been three days.

- When I woke up that morning, I felt strange, like something
just wasn't right. It felt like I had a mild hangover, but I had nothing
to drink the night before. When I got to work, my right knee felt weird...
not itchy, not stinging, more of a tingling sensation. I looked down and
saw what I thought was a spider bite or something -- there was a small
(about 1mm) indentation in my flesh. It didn't bleed but it did leak a
clear puss substance (white blood cells?). The leaking went on all
- day and then finally stopped. It's been three days now
and it's still not healed... there's no scab, just light red flesh in the
concave scooped area, and the skin around it is pink. I just figured it
was a spider bite or something until I saw the scoop mark pictures on rense.com.

- The picture is attached, taken about 10 minutes ago,
about 3 days after I first noticed the mark. Feel free to post it on your
site along with my story. Please don't post my e-mail address or name,
but you can mention that I live in northern Georgia in the US and that
the scoop mark appeared on July 2. You can also share with Jeff Rense,
as that is where I first saw the scoop mark pictures today.

- Well...
I have to join the club here. I've had a scoop since 1997. In fact, it
happened right before I started working with you, Jeff. You probably remember
me mentioning it. This is exactly what I got on my forehead back during
the hale-bopp Enigma website days. Out of the blue, missing chunk o' flesh,
roughly triangular in shape, was mildly inflamed but no blood or pus, no
infection at all, rashy around it and yet didn't hurt at all. Lasted a
week or two then became a scar with no inflammation. Went to the doc and
he said he couldn't figure out what did it, but it wasn't a spider or insect
bite. He said the flesh was 'dissolved' somehow, but was the darndest thing
he'd ever seen. Couldn't even recommend a cream to put on it or anything.
It was accompanied by dizziness for several days. But the scoop is still
there 6 years later as these pics show. - James Neff/ Webmaster

- This is so interesting. About 16 years ago, I had this
same thing on my left forearm. It just appeared one day when I woke up
from a long nap. It lasted about 2 or three months. There is a very faint
tiny scar left.

- I thought at the time it was a spider bite. But now I
don't know. There were some articles in the local news paper here, in San
Diego, about "spider bites" reported by inmates in our county
jail, durring the past year, that sound similar. However, some doctors
said these are not spider bites, but infections of some sort.

- What stikes me is that mine was on my left arm. It hurt,
and was quite sore for several days, and then the pain went up into my
arm pit, and there was a sore and swelling there, perhaps in a lymph node.
That lasted a week or more. Even after the pain was gone, the sore remained,
and it took a long time to heal. How strange.

- I am just writing to let you know that you can add my
name to the list of persons who have experienced the unusual concave scoop
mark upon waking up. The details appear to be the same. I woke up one morning
in early March, 2003 with what until today I assumed was a spider
bite on the inside of my left arm, half way between the wrist and elbow.
It exactly matched the "scoop mark" you posted on Jeff Rense's
site. In the two reports listed on that site, I have seen no reports of
swelling, which in my case occurred to a significant degree. In fact, after
two days, my entire inner arm was inflamed from wrist to elbow. The "hole"
itself never bled, but it eventually turned a sickly black.

- I was out of town and it didn't seem to be an emergency
room case (if I had experienced ever I would have gone), so I never had
it checked out. Now that I have seen these reports, I sorely regret that
decision. It would have been interesting if a doctor had diagnosed it as
a punch biopsy. I do have a permanent scar from the event, but I'm not
sure much can be gleaned so many months later. If you are aware of any
tests or whatnot to differentiate between a bite and a biopsy, my
- curiosity is certainly piqued.

- You are more than welcome to post my story wherever you
see fit. I attached a picture of the scar, and like I said in my previous
email, it is less than dramatic as it's been about four months since the
- event. But at least you get an idea of its size and location.
It measures about 7mm x 3mm, but the actual hole was slightly smaller than
that.

- I just remembered one last detail about the event after
reading the stories posted on Rense.com. As I mentioned, my arm swelled
considerably from wrist to elbow. But what I found pretty interesting is
that I also had a faint red streak under the skin running from my armpit
down the inside of my arm toward the site. Presumably my lymphatic system
in overdrive, but it goes to show how strong the immune response was.

- I am an 18 year old from the Toronto, Ontario, Canada area.
I came across this story about the scoop biopsy on Rense. To tell you the
truth, I had completely overlooked this the first few times I read about
it, but I was brushing my teeth one night, looked in the mirror, and remembered
this mark on my forehead. I immediately remembered that I had a mark almost
identical and in the same place as the webmaster. I don't know how it got
there, but I remember it appeared one night when I was at a summer camp
in a cabin. I woke up, and as many other people thought, I had been bit.
To this day I still don't know if it was a bite or whatever is happening
to everyone else. I have included a picture with an inset of a contrast
enhanced picture to show the position on my forehead. Thanks for your research,
and please keep me informed.

- I feel a little silly writing this, as what I've got
on my arm is probably just a bug bite of some kind. But I've had it for
a couple of weeks or so, I think, and it doesn't itch at all. It looks
like the pictures that I saw on your site about scoop biopsies. It's on
my left inner forearm, just about halfway between wrist and elbow, sort
of left of center. What's odd is that an inch or so to the right of it,
there's been a very itchy, scaly raised rash or fungus of some kind. But
the little mark on the forearm doesn't itch at all. It's starting to scab
over now, but previously was just a hole, with some redness around it.
Wouldn't have thought anything of it, if it weren't for the comments on
your site, and the similarities as far as location on the arm. I'm sorry
I don't have a digital camera to take a picture of it, so this letter probably
won't help as far as gathering statistics or information. And it's probably
just a non-itchy bug bite, but thought I'd mention it anyway, because I
was intrigued by the timing of the articles, having the same kind of thing
myself right now. Thanks for your site.

- I happened across your website and saw the article about
the scoop marks. A couple of weeks ago I woke up with a mark on my
right hand. It wasn't there before because I lotion my hands every
night before bed and would have noticed. It looked like a small chunk
of flesh had been scooped, for lack of a better term, out. There
was no blood, it was slightly swollen and red but did not hurt and
after a week began to scab over. I wish I could get a picture to
you. The scar that is left looks roughly triangular. It was
probably nothing but after reading the articles I was intrigued.

- I was mentioned to you about a report in which was being
postal mailed to me. It did arrive and I have been granted permission to
have this story posted, along with the photos. This story has been ongoing
for such along time, and involves a whole family. By posting this, both
the family and myself are hoping others might come forward with the same
types of experiences. It seems to be helping everyone just to know they
are not alone.
- I will also add, Jeff, that over the last short while
I have already received well over 50 cases of scoop marks being reported,
plus other stories of possible abduction cases.

- When I was around 12 years old, I woke up one morning
with what people call a "scoop mark". It's only on my left leg
and I have no idea how it got there. It is a perfect circle which dips
down a bit, and is about the size of a large pea.

- About 11 months ago, my 18 year old son came to visit
me for a few days from (deleted by HBCC UFO). A couple of days into the
visit, he woke up in the morning and went to have his morning shower. As
he was walking into the bathroom (wearing only shorts), I noticed to my
horror that he had a perfect 4"x4"x4" triangular mark on
his back, and inside this triangle were all these perfectly round red marks
about the size of a pencil eraser. He said that he felt no pain, but that
it was kind of itchy-burning feeling.
- We went to the walk in clinic to have a doctor look at
it, but the doctor did not have any idea what this could be, or what may
have caused it. She had never seen anything like it before. It disappeared
about 4 days later.
- Another strange circumstance that goes along with this
story is the fact that the same morning of this event, the tree outside
the bedroom window where my son had slept, (the leaves were yellow like
they had been slightly burnt or something). Photos included.

- This is also the same son at 9 years old who woke up
with a hole in his spine that was a bit smaller than a dime. It took us
about 3 months of antibiotics to get rid of the infection. This hole was
so deep, that you could actually see the bone. The doctor had no explanation
for this injury. All my son remembers was being woken up by a loud, scary,
"BEEP-BEEP" sounds.

- Mother - A couple of weeks ago I was on the phone
talking to a friend, my daughter expressed a pain that she was suddenly
feeling in her nose area. I watched in disbelief as a "white scoop
mark" was quickly appearing there, right before my eyes. I could not
believe what was happening. It disappeared a couple of days later. Since
then she has had at least 6 nose bleeds. We no longer bother to have a
doctor examine us when things happen, since they never seem to have any
answers for us anyway, or maybe it is that they are afraid of what these
injuries and events might implicate, who knows?

- These are just a few of the medical anomalies that have
happened to the children and I over the last few years. There is so much

hoping that maybe you will have some answers for us, or that at least we
may find out that we are not alone with all this. That maybe others out
there are experiencing the same type of things. I would really appreciate

- This is just too weird! In 1967 I was 15 years old and
working my first job as a dishwasher. I woke up one morning to find what
appeared to be 3 small bites on my forehead. Over the course of a few days
these formed a single scab. When the scab fell off I had a mark about a
32nd of an inch deep on my forehead. The dermatologist I went to was clueless
as to what it was and I still have it to this day.

- I just saw the pictures and stories of scoop marks on
rense.com. I began reading with a feeling of deja vu, which sent chills
up my spine. I have many scars from childhood accidents and can tell you
in detail how they occurred. But I have one scar on my left inner thigh
that I have never been able to explain. I've had the scar (or scoop mark)
since I was five or six years of age. When I was 22 or so, I asked my mother
about it. I never really had any reason to wonder why I didn't know how
it occurred. (Funny that.)

- When I started to ask my mother, I began by showing her
the scar. Before I could say anything, she blurted, "Where did you
get that?" I replied that I was going to ask her the same question.
She looked at me very peculiarly and, I swear, she turned white as a sheet
and rolled up her baggy shorts (it was summer) and showed me the exact
same scar on her left inner thigh. She didn't know how she acquired the
"scar" either. I thought that was really weird, but I didn't
pursue it. Now, after reading the stories on Jeff's website, I am shivering
and wondering why I never really tried to find the answer to this puzzle.

- I've had a fascination about UFO's most of my life and
I've had some very strange "dreams", at least I thought they
were dreams, of people who weren't people, of "glass houses"
with roofs that touched the ground, and of flying around the glass houses
with other people who were naked. I was only a child when this dream continued
to repeat over and over with other images of rooms that were lit in the
middle but no walls could be seen. I have not been able to get the feeling
out of my mind that these weren't dreams, but actual occurrences.

- I've attached the photos of my "scoop mark"
scar. You can post them if you wish, I have a driving need now to know
what has happened to me (and my mother). Why don't we remember? Why was
so difficult to wonder what happened? How could I just forget to wonder?
I must admit I'm frightened. The dream of flying around the glass house
was fun, but some of the "dreams" scared the wits out of me.

- One very early morning when I was about 13, I woke up
screaming, I had a dream of people talking to me, talking way too fast,
and I was scared. My mom came into my room, and I REMEMBER her walking
in and sitting on my bed and shaking me to wake up. The problem was that
I was awake and I couldn't tell her I was awake. Also, when she spoke to
me, I couldn't understand her. She was talking too fast. I finally managed
to tell her that. I was finally able to move and she made me get dressed
and took me to the hospital. My temperature was 104 degrees, yet I felt
fine once I was able to move. In fact, after the incident, I actually felt
pretty good! I didn't feel like I had a fever at all. I never understood
that. They kept me overnight "just in case". In case of what
I never found out.

- I have on numerous occasions seen unidentified objects
in the sky. The most astonishing one was in San Jose, CA during the summer
of 1997. I think it was in August. At about 10:00 pm, I went outside to
have a cigarette and was sitting in front of the garage. The garage was
behind me and I looked up to see a HUGE light coming towards me, but I
could tell it was about airplane height. It was a beautiful blue color.
It was just going over my head and behind the roof of the garage. when
I cried out with my mind, "Come back!" I didn't want to lose
sight of something so pretty, it pulsed with a gentle blue light, dim then
bright, dim then bright.

- I KNEW it wasn't an airplane, there was no sound and
no blinking lights. It surprised me when it popped back into view. Like
it reversed and hovered right above me. While I was still sitting there
with my mouth hanging open, a beam of light, more white but still bluish,
shone down on me. I had "goosepimples" as my grandmother would've
said. While it was shining on me another craft, smaller and white colored
shot out of nowhere and stopped short right next to the blue craft. Then
it shot at an angle the other direction. After a few more seconds the blue
craft disappeared, with a streak of light behind it heading in the direction
it was going before it stopped when I thought at it.

- I've had many occasions of seeing craft and I've had
some very strange moments when I was disoriented afterwards. I have seen
these craft all my life. There is something peculiar about one thing though.
When I was a kid and was injured or sick, I would go to the military hospital
in El Paso. When I came of age, I requested my medical records and my x-rays.
The response I received was that they had no records of me at all. I had
a somewhat huge amount of x-rays taken while I was growing up: concussions,
broken bones, that sort of thing. But all of them, ALL of them were gone.
This was never explained to me and since I was not a member of the military,
I had no recourse to recover them. I don't know why my father never pursued
it. He said that I was no longer his dependent in the military's eyes,
so that was the end of it.

- You asked me about my dreams or nightmares now. The truth
is I don't seem to dream anymore. I haven't had a dream that I could remember
in years. That also makes me believe that my childhood "dreams"
weren't dreams at all. Also, I think I have sleep apnea. I sometimes suddenly
start awake. I feel at that moment as if my heart has stopped or that I
have stopped breathing and my body reacts by jerking, sometimes right off
the bed. Not onto the floor, but straight up. And I awake when my body
hits the bed. It has happened quite often the last two or three years now
and I would think about going to the doctor, but then I would change my
mind. I hate doctors. I can't stand the hospital or the doctor's office.
I won't go to a dentist unless I absolutely have no choice, my fear is
that great. I don't know what causes the spasms or whatever they are.

- But nightmares, no, not since I was a teen. Being jerked
awake, yes, many, many times.

- I actually have two scars on my thighs. My skin is extremely
white unless I have been in the sun, so the one on the left thigh is nearly
invisible and the one on the right nearly so. The scar on the left thigh
is oval shaped, about the size of a thumbprint, and full of tiny pinpricks.
It is located high up near my groin and originally was on the inside of
my thigh. Over the years (and as I gained weight), the scar migrated toward
the front of my thigh.

- I have a strange memory about receiving this scar. I
remember that I was less than six years old. I was in a doctor's office
and he gave me what I remembered as a "vaccination". I was lying
on a table screaming as he did the procedure, and something or someone
was holding me down. I could see my mother behind the doctor. She was standing
still, almost frozen, staring at us and not reacting at all - which was
extremely strange since she normally was overly reactive and could not
stand to even see me get an injection. Years later I mentioned the incident
to her and she denied it ever happened, even when I showed her the scar.

- The scar on my right thigh is triangular and featureless,
about a quarter inch in length. I have attached a photo of this scar. I
have no memory of receiving this scar, although I can remember what caused
every other scar I have. My son wrote you and told you about the day we
talked about our scars (erroneously stating that mine was on the right
thigh). What I find very odd is that he cannot remember that his sister
was there when we discussed our scars. My daughter also showed us a scar
on her thigh that was identical to ours. None of us remember getting these
scars, nor can I remember any injuries my children might have received
that would have resulted in this kind of scarring.

- When I lived in El Paso, Texas, I often watched the desert
sky at night hoping to see shooting stars. I don't recall ever seeing anything
that might have been considered a UFO - at least not at night, but I do
remember one incident very vividly - and it happened in broad daylight.
I was driving on what used to be called War Road in Northeast El Paso in
the summer of 1977.

- We frequently drove this road to and from our house.
My children were both in the car with me on this occasion. An extension
of the University of Texas at El Paso had recently been built nearby, but
at the time, this road was not as busy as it has become now that houses
have been built all along it and it has become a major freeway called Gateway
North/South.

- I had turned onto War Road from Hondo Pass and as I neared
the college I saw a small circular object in the sky. It looked like an
oversized Frisbee at first. As it came closer, I slowed my vehicle to get
a better look at it. I remember yelling to the children to look at the
object, but they couldn't see it from the back seat. The object was traveling
slowly across the road,
- like it was hovering, and it was spinning as it went.
Small markings around the edge resembled windows. It appeared to be about
three foot across and less than a foot deep at the center axis. I had the
vivid impression that there was nothing alive within it, more like it was
a remote control device. Suddenly, as though whatever was controlling it
became aware of my presence, it shot down at an angle into the desert between
me and the college buildings. I stopped the car, intending to go look at
it more closely. Just before I got out of the car, however, I glanced in
the rearview mirror and saw several cars coming toward me. There was no
place to park as there was no shoulder on the road and I had to drive on
to avoid being hit.

- The area where this occurred was near several military
bases, including Fort Bliss and MacGregor Range. When I mentioned the incident
to friends, several warned me that I shouldn't tell too many people about
it because it might have been a test flight by the military of something
created using alien technology. I have no idea what it really was.

- My son told you about his dreams and wanted me to tell
you of similar ones I had most of my life. I had dreams many times that
were always the same. I was in a place that was formed of metal walls.
In my dreams I always thought of it as "home" although it never
resembled any place I ever lived. I would decide to go somewhere and instead
of walking I would bend at the waist, lift my feet and float. I would propel
myself by pushing on the walls or grabbing projections and pull myself
onward. These dreams occurred when I was a child long before the first
space flights and before I ever read any science fiction stories. They
continued until my mid-30's.

records of my son, my daughter and myself were "lost" from the
military hospital in El Paso - Beaumont - within two years of my husband's
retirement.

- Here's the pictures of my brother's scoop marks. As I
said, this morning I noticed the marks on his back. I asked him what happened
and he had no idea. He said that last Thursday, he and mom were sitting
outside of work (a retail store in our area) and both he and mom noticed
a large white light as he says, "the size of a nickel." It seemed
close and as they watched it flew to the left a little ways and seemed
to stop and then got smaller as if it faded in the distance and blinked
out. There were no FAA mandated blinking lights on the object. My brother
told me, "planes don't make right angle turns like that and then fade
into nothing".

he looked confused and said he had no idea.

- Oh my god! Brian I will ask my brother those questions
in the morning, he has already gone to bed. But I almost forgot! A few
days ago my brother was having nose bleeds for two or three days! I'll
ask him which nostril tomorrow. I remember him bleeding and when I saw
those marks, I remarked on the nosebleeds as well. My brother, doesn't
feel any pain in the area. He didn't know the marks were there until I
noticed
- them. With the bruise all around them, I was amazed that
he hadn't fallen or hit something. But he looked totally confused when
I asked him what happened.

- 1. We live in Sonora, California
- 2. About 9:00 PM the light in the sky was seen.
- 3. They were facing North and the object flew westward.
- 4. Observation lasted between 20 and 30 seconds.
- 5. It looked more like it was disappearing into the distance
as it flew away from them.
- 6. It was about 100 to 150 yards above them when spotted.
- 7. As they were looking at it, they could see planes
that seemed to be off in the distance behind the light. The planes seemed
to be higher than the light. The planes did not react to the object.
- 8. Clear, starry sky, no clouds in the area.
- 9. No smell was noticed.
- 11. No time loss seemed to have happened.
- 12. He felt an ache in his back, but no pain as such.
- 13. His nose was bleeding for two days and the blood
was in the right nostril.
- 14. Large nickel sized light, maybe a little oval in
shape, white, maybe a tint of blue in color.
- 15. No the bruising just surrounded the scoop marks.
- 16. No illness, but a little nausea three days ago, when
he woke up.

- From time to time, I read about someone getting an implant
or scoop of flesh taken out of them. So, I got to thinking your readers
might be interested in my story.

- The idea of implants is not new to me. Several years
ago, just after I crawled out of bed and was sitting on the toilet planning
my day, I noticed a small triangular patch of skin missing from the inside
of my left knee. Only the top few layers of my hide were missingjust enough
to get down to the red. At first, I wondered how I could have done that?
But the idea left me as I continued to think about how I was going to stir
the pot that day and where to stick the spoon. But then, when I stood up
and glanced in the mirror, I discovered a bright red mark on the right
side of my tummy. It was about 6 inches to the right of my bully button.
Having been a student of UFOs since I was a little kid, I immediately knew
what it was I had been implanted.

- It didn't take me long to remember that sometime in the
night I had very briefly woke up and was immediately put back down by a
pulsing magnetic sensation on my face and chest. After that, I slept like
a rock till morning.

- Since that time and back to when I was a little kid,
I have had strange things happen. I somehow knew about UFOs before Roswell.

- Most recently, I have discovered tiny implants under
my fingers nails. They move out as the nail grows. It started with two
identical ones under my left thumbnail. They could have been twins. They
were perfectly spaced and pushed in about half the length of the nail.

- Most recently, I woke up one morning to find a scoop
mark on my right upper chestsee picture.

- In all my experiences of missing time and a bloody toe
and implants etc, I have never suffered any form of pain or trauma. Being
somewhat of a technoid, I find it all very festinating. Everyday, I get
to feel my implant. Not everybody gets to do that.

- HBCC UFO Research just reported on a report of a gentleman
who contacted me about a scoop mark and terrible bruising he discovered
on his body on March 25, 2004 Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m. (Report & Photos

- Pictures were sent to show what had taken place. Today
I received a new set of photos and short report informing me that the fellow
had another encounter. Again photos were taken which shows a mark or scar
behind the man's ear. Also more marks have showed up on his back.

- One day later after the incident with the marks on the
man's body another sighting of an object was witnessed on April 3, 2004
in the same area. Report is below:

- Shape of objects: Large Bluish White Light

- Full Description of event/sighting: I was facing east,
the full moon was above and to my right. From my left, overhead, a large
bluish-white light was passing over me. It was beautiful! It moved rather
sedately, and slowly seemed to rock to the left and right as it flew over.
It passed right in front of the full moon and kept going towards the north.
Object was in sight for over three minutes. Other aircraft (definitely
planes with FAA mandated blinking lights) were flying in the area just
east of the object. They definitely were higher in the air than the object.
It seemed no more than two football fields-length from me. The light
was very, very large. It looked to be dime-sized. I can't imagine how
big it would have been if it had been closer!

- Also, last night my brother had new marks on his back.
Pictures attached, as well as a mark or scar behind his left ear. He
has NO memory of getting them. No nausea, no pain, he was looking in the
mirror when he noticed them. They're are more on his back now. If you
compare the pictures I sent you before, you will see the difference. I
don't know why they would focus on my brother's spine, but he was in a
motor bike accident when he was sixteen. He is now 22 this month. He
swerved to avoid a dog and hit a tree. He wasn't wearing his helmet and
ended up in a coma for two months. He has mobility in his left leg, but
not much control over it. His left hand still spasms. He had nerve damage.
He walks with a pronounced limp. I wonder what they are doing to him.
It is frustrating! He says that he doesn't mind if you use his pictures.
