- TAIPEI (Reuters) - Taiwan
reported four new probable SARS cases on Monday, taking the total to 680,
the third-highest in the world after China and Hong Kong.

- The Department of Health said the latest infections of
Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome came from the Taipei Municipal Yang Ming
Hospital which reported a fresh outbreak on Friday that broke a three-day
streak of zero additional infections for the island.

- The death toll remained unchanged at 81.

- Before the latest outbreak, Taiwan had hoped it could
be removed from the World Health Organization's travel advisory list by
June 15.
