- I enjoy your show, and thought you might appreciate these
photos. I took these in February of 2002. It was a clear day, with a bright
blue sky. Around 1 p.m., my wife and I watched 4 jets flying side-by-side
in formation (see attached photos) lay down a grid pattern of trails. There
were at least a dozen separate trails in the sky by the time they were
finished, although we didn't see the planes that left the first ones. As
we drove through town, we saw numerous people standing in the parking lots
of stores staring and pointing. By sundown, the formerly clear sky was
hazy and covered with low clouds, as you can see in the final pictures.
