- WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The
White House complained on Thursday that a House-Senate probe into the Sept.
11 attacks had released sensitive information about National Security Agency
intercepts.
-
- "The president has deep concerns about the inappropriate
disclosure of information that can compromise both sources and methods
and potentially interfere or harm America's capacity to fight the war against
terror," said White House Ari Fleischer.
-
- U.S. intelligence intercepted two messages the day before
the Sept. 11 attacks that indicated an event was planned the following
day, but the communications were not translated until Sept. 12, government
sources said on Wednesday.
-
- The National Security Agency, which eavesdrops on communications
worldwide, intercepted messages that said "tomorrow is zero hour"
and "the match begins tomorrow," sources said on condition of
anonymity.
-
- Fleischer said President Bush directed Vice President
Dick Cheney to express administration concerns about the leak of the information
to the co-chairmen of the House-Senate intelligence committee, Republican
Rep. Porter Goss and Democratic Sen. Bob Graham.

- Bush has the audacity to complain that "a security
leak" which that his intelligence office knew on 9-10 that something
was up for 9-11 is utterly appalling.
-
- It is despicable that as commander in chief, he didn't
have the moral fortitude to prevent 9-11, knowing that U.S. intelligence
did know that something was up on 9-10, yet our military planes were standing
down on the morning of 9-11, and even when told by his staff that a jet
had crashed into NYC, he continued babbling to children in FL... sounds
mighty peculiar, don't you think...
-
- To make matters worse, Bush and his cronies our imploding
this country's fiscal strength and prosperity, all for his 'war on terrorism',
putting this country in fiscal ruin, and then to rub salt on the wounds
our commander in chief hides in the whitehouse bunker from a cessna...
What gallant leadership... I'd say impeachment sounds mighty fitting
right now...
