- The Rockpile
-
- Have you ever been to the so-called West Bank in Israel?
The images drawn by the media would lead you to conclude that it's filled
with teeming masses of oppressed Palestinians. Aside from a handful of
concentrated pockets like Ramallah and Nablus, it's an empty rockpile.
-
- Drive around in it and you need binoculars to figure
out where folks live: "Is that a village way over there? Yeah, I think
so. What about on that ridge? It must be five miles from here. I thinks
there's a village there, too, right?"
-
-
- Believe me, there are 20 million more rocks than people
in the "West Bank." Well, OK, 20 million is a gross underestimate.
Maybe 200 million rocks more. Whatever, it's a lot of rocks, a lot of empty
real estate in which you would not want to live.
-
-
- That's the way pretty much all of the land between the
Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea was a hundred years ago. It was
primarily inhabited by wandering bands of Bedouin nomads living in black
tents and herding camels and goats.
-
- Then Jews started showing up. Jews were supposed to be,
in Moslem mythology, Arab brethren. In the founding Islamic Myth expounded
in the Koran, Arabs and Jews had the same ancestral father, Abraham. The
Arabs were descended from Abraham's son Ishmael, the Jews from Abraham's
son Isaac.
-
-
- Never mind that the creators of Islam just made this
up whole-cloth from their imagination. There is absolutely no evidence
of any kind whatever, zip-zero-nada, of any pre-Islamic source from antiquity
that Arabs claimed descendence from Abraham. They pilfered the Jewish story
and changed it to make it their own.
-
-
- Never mind, because the Arabs believed it anyway: Mohammed,
back in the 7th century, had proclaimed they and the Jews were brothers
descended from the same ancestor.
-
- The problem was that since Mohammed's day the Jews went
out into the world while the Arabs stayed put in the desert with their
camels. The Jews, despite monumental persecution and prejudice, participated
in and contributed to Western Civilization to a degree unequaled by any
other ethnic group.
-
-
- Then they had the audacity to return to their ancestral
homeland, bringing with them all the technology and culture they had earned
a right to bring. They turned the desert rockpile into a garden. And turned
the Arabs, still wandering around the rockpile with their camels, pathologically
insane with envy.
-
-
- The Arabs could have learned from their Jewish brothers.
Instead, they decided to stay in their black tents and sulk in resentment.
-
-
- It's classic, psychology-textbook envy. Envy is always
directed at those who are the closest. The guy who was our neighbor, who
started out the same as us yet excelled and, thereby, showed us up: That's
the fellow we hate more than anyone. It's why there's the saying "Only
kings envy kings," and why civil wars are the most murderously brutal.
-
-
- Is Kuwait "Kuwaiti-Occupied Iraq"?
-
- So the Jews prospered in their garden and the Arabs festered
in their rockpile. The Jews supported the British and the Allies, while
the Arabs and their Grand Mufti supported the Nazis. When the Jews were
granted independence for their homeland, a tiny island of property from
the Jordan to the Med in a vast sea of Arab lands, the Arabs vowed envious
vengeance.
-
-
- No one gave the small band of Jews any chance against
tens of millions of wrathful Arabs in 1947 - yet they prevailed. The Jews
retained their homeland from the Jordan to the Sea - except they were unable
to repulse the Arab armies from an incursion capturing a particular swath
of territory west of the Jordan.
-
-
- For 20 years, Jordanian Arab soldiers occupied this territory,
which included East Jerusalem. Then came the Six-Day War in 1967, with
a victorious Israel sweeping the occupying forces from their land.
-
- And here, at this moment of triumph, the Jews made an
incredible mistake. Instead of outright annexing their land recaptured
from Jordan, as they did with the Golan Heights to the north recaptured
from Syria, they waffled and left it in political limbo.
-
-
- Thus this territory became known as the "West Bank,"
with the Western media swallowing the absurd Arab claim it was "Occupied
Territory." It was occupied all right - from 1948 to 1967 by Jordan.
Jordan did not annex it, did not make its Arab occupants Jordanian citizens,
did not develop it. All Jordan did was militarily occupy it. What the Jews
did in 1967 was get their land back, not take it away.
-
-
- Here's an exact parallel. Kuwait is an independent country.
It is invaded and occupied by Saddam Hussein's Iraq. U.S. and coalition
forces liberate Kuwait. Saddam condemns this and claims that Kuwait is
"Occupied Territory" that legally and morally belongs to Iraq.
-
- If it is ridiculous to call Kuwait "Kuwaiti-Occupied
Iraq," then it is equally so for Arabs to claim a part of Israel,
invaded and seized by an Arab army, is "Israeli-occupied" after
Israel recaptured it.
-
-
- The Nazi and the Pederast
-
- In the 1920s and '30s, the leader of the Arabs in Jewish
Palestine (pre-Independence Israel) was the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj
Amin al-Husseini. He came to power by organizing systematic murders of
Jews starting in 1921. Establishing relations with the Nazi Party of Germany
in 1933, he devised an alternative to Hitler's plan to rid Germany of Jews
by sending them to Jewish Palestine.
-
-
- At a meeting in Berlin with Hitler himself on Nov. 21,
1941, al-Husseini persuaded the Führer that such a plan would result
in a powerful independent Jewish state, and that a far better solution
would be a Final one: Kill all Jews, in the millions, at extermination
centers set up in Europe.
-
-
- Two months after this meeting, the Holocaust had begun.
Al-Husseini was granted his wish. It was a Moslem Arab who originated the
idea of the Holocaust. At the Nuremberg Trials, Eichmann's deputy Dieter
Wisliceny (subsequently executed as a war criminal) testified:
-
-
-
- The Mufti was one of the initiators of the systematic
extermination of European Jewry and had been a collaborator and adviser
of Eichmann and Himmler in the execution of this plan. ... He was one of
Eichmann's best friends and had constantly incited him to accelerate the
extermination measures. I heard him say, accompanied by Eichmann, he had
visited incognito the gas chamber of Auschwitz.
-
-
- Nevertheless, al-Husseini was never tried at Nuremberg,
and was allowed to return to the Middle East. He spent the rest of his
life organizing terror attacks - now with the help of the Soviets via a
KGB agent named Yevgeni Primakov - against the Jews of Israel.
-
- In 1964, he founded the Palestinian Liberation Organization
(PLO) and turned its leadership over to his nephew, Mohammed Abder Rauf
Arafat al-Kudwa al-Husseini, alias Yasser Arafat.
-
-
- Arafat has had two dominating passions during his life:
killing Jews and sodomizing young boys. There is a famous collection of
films secretly taken during the 1970s and '80s by the Securitate (Romanian
KGB) when Arafat would stay at Ceaucescu's palace in Bucharest. Every night,
a young boy or two would be provided for him, and every time the Securitate's
camera's were rolling.
-
-
- How an Arab Nazi pervert won the Nobel Peace Prize will
forever be one of history's most disgraceful mysteries. It is time to rid
the world of Arab Nazism. It is time to put an end to it.
-
-
- Soviet Palestinian Peace
-
- The Russian word mir is normally translated as "peace."
But it should have been accurately translated, as the Soviets used it during
the Cold War, as "order." For Americans and normal English-speakers,
peace means the absence of violence. For the Soviets, "peace"
or mir meant the absence of disobedience. When everyone obeys their rulers
in the Communist Party hierarchy, then there is order - and, consequently,
peace.
-
-
- So it is with the Palestinians. "Islam" in
Arabic means "submission." It secondarily means "peace"
that comes through submission to the will of Allah.
-
- "Peace" for the Palestinian leadership thus
means for Israel to submit and surrender. Whenever a Palestinian leader
utters the word salaam in political negotiations, it should be translated
as "surrender" or "submission."
-
- Perhaps Israeli "doves" would then realize
that the fundamental condition required by Palestinians for peace - the
absence of violence - between them and Jews is for Jews to surrender their
property, their lives and their country, and submit to being ruled by Arab
Moslems.
-
-
- Faced with such an enemy, there are two and only two
choices: You surrender or they surrender. The following is a proposal for
achieving Palestinian surrender.
-
-
- Israel as an Intact Nation
-
- The most disastrous mistake Israel ever made was the
failure to annex the so-called West Bank. That mistake must be rectified.
The West Bank should be annexed and declared part and parcel of the land
and country of Israel. The lunacy of a scattered collection of Palestinian
Bantustans being given independence has got to be dismissed.
-
-
- It should also go without saying that the Saudi Red Herring,
the fraudulent "peace [i.e., submission and surrender] plan"
recently offered by Abdullah ibn Saud to redirect attention away from Saudi-Wahabi
support for Osama bin Laden, is equally dismissable.
-
-
- In preparation for West Bank annexation, a major diplomatic
and media campaign should be launched demanding that history be taught
accurately - that it was Jordan that occupied the West Bank and Israel
recaptured land stolen from it in 1967, and that the West Bank no longer
be prejudicially referred to by diplomats and journalists as "occupied
territory."
-
-
- The psychological perception of the West Bank as "occupied"
must be changed. Once this change has begun to take effect, then the legal
annexation of the West Bank can proceed.
-
-
- Concurrently, the Gaza Strip should be given independence
as a Palestinian state. This entails dismantling the Israeli settlements
in Gaza and resettling their inhabitants (around 6,500) in Israel proper.
-
-
- With the annexation of the West Bank, its Palestinian
inhabitants should be given the option of becoming Israeli citizens or
emigrating, to an independent Gaza or to live with their Arab brothers
and sisters in Jordan, Lebanon or Syria.
-
-
- Approximately 1.8 million Palestinians currently live
in the West Bank. As Gaza is only 100 square miles and already has a population
density of 8,700 for each of those miles, asking to double or even triple
Gaza's population might seem absurd.
-
- Yet the two most prosperous places on earth, Singapore
and Hong Kong, have greater densities. Singapore is 246 square miles with
3.6 million people; its density is over 14,000 people per square mile.
Hong Kong is 390 square miles with 7.2 million people; its density is over
18,000 per square mile.
-
- When given the freedom to do so, Palestinian businessmen
around the world have a proven record of prospering. Surely the Arab world,
with its countless billions in oil revenue, can grubstake an independent
Palestinian state of Gaza, and launch it on the path to prosperity.
-
-
- Make Money, Not War
-
- The people of Israel must realize that they cannot make
"peace" with the Palestinians as the Palestinians define it.
The reality they face is stark. Either they deconstruct the State of Israel,
turn the land of Israel over to the Palestinians, and emigrate to other
countries (or live under the rule of a Palestinian government) - or reconstruct
the State of Israel as an intact nation with no Palestinian enclaves within
it.
-
-
- This is the choice that the people of Israel must make.
There are no other viable choices. Give up and surrender - or have the
will to impose the proposed solution.
-
-
- There is a great irony to this proposal. It is that if
Palestinians used the brains Allah gave them, they would leap at the opportunity
it gives them to leave Israel in the economic dust.
-
-
- Israel has always carried two leaden albatrosses around
its economic neck: its deeply embedded legacy of socialism, and ultra-orthodox
fanatics demanding religious hamstringing of economic activity. As a result,
its economy cannot possibly achieve its potential.
-
- A free, independent Palestinian state in Gaza would give
the Palestinian people the opportunity to establish a genuine free-market
economy. If the people of Hong Kong and Singapore can build an economic
dynamo, why can't the people of Gaza?
-
-
- This presupposes that the Palestinians would rid themselves
of the socialist economy and fascist tyranny of Yasser Arafat. The State
of Palestinian Gaza would have to be a genuine democracy - an example of
Arab democracy for other Arab nations to emulate. It would have to provide
a genuine rule of law, and particularly contract law, protecting private
property and business transactions.
-
- It would have to be a low-tax, low-bureaucracy, low-corruption,
low-regulation free-market haven enabling its citizens to flourish and
prosper.
-
- In other words, its purpose would be to make money, not
war.
-
-
- And if it turns out that the 100 square miles of Gaza
is too small, its Palestinian citizens will be making enough money to buy
the Sinai from Egypt.
-
-
- The best revenge is living well. In which would any Palestinian
find more satisfaction: blowing himself up to kill a few Israelis, or being
richer and living better in his own country than most Israelis live in
theirs?
-
-
- Put an End to It
-
- It is blindingly obvious that both the Israelis and Palestinians
are fighting in a blind alley. The direction of the current situation is
completely hopeless for both. Oslo is dead. The Saudi Red Herring is a
scam. Arafat is an Arab Nazi and Hamas is worse. Radical solutions are
the only way out.
-
-
- Israel must be an intact nation, must have full sovereignty
over its original borders from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean. Palestinians
must have their own country - but not within Israel's borders. That country
must therefore be Gaza. An independent Gaza must be provided, with a legal
and political structure ensuring political and economic freedom.
-
-
- With such a solution, both Israelis and Palestinians
would be free to flourish. It is time for such a solution. In reality,
there is no other solution.
-
- There is no other solution other than for Israel to inform
the world that no matter what other countries do or say in reaction, Israel
is going to take its existence and its destiny in its own hands, do what
is necessary to survive, and once and for all, put an end to it.
