Even the phoney bin Ladin didn't confess to planning the attacks. He said he was told 5 days before it happened. Everyone has conceded that it took several years to plan. He was long-gone from Afganistan, when that tape was manufactured. You don't think he'd sit in a cave and wait for a bomb to hit him in the head? Is that what George Bush would do? Sure he would.

Who is 'the mother'?

I have yet to see anyone question who the heck the Shaykh was referring to when he talked about how "the mother" received many phone calls of congratulations!! Now, since the whole tape is admitting (supposedly) that Osama is guilty of 9/11, who is "the mother?" I heard an Arab say that part of the tape is a celebratory party of the birth of a child to one of Osama's wives. I heard that BEFORE I read the transcript. I didn't think much of it at the time, but then when I read the transcript - I thought, "Oh my God! It was a tape about a mother giving birth!" At least some of it. It had to be.

Why else is no one even asking who "the mother" is? That isn't some Islamic expression...so. if they admit their own guilt on the tape (supposedly), why code name someone else as "the mother"? And if that is a code name, shouldn't all the news be wondering who is even higher up than Osama that that person's identity is kept secret even on their home video? But not one word of wonder about the mysterious person "the mother." Not one!

It seems so obvious that the Shaykh isn't talking about any attacks to me when he tells how he and the brothers found out the good news and about the phone calls to "the mother." Is it just me?? Why could I find no one else on the whole web wondering about this section?

I always enjoy visiting your website for the wide variety of information and the healthy debate. I would like to comment on a recent article:

Alan Dershowitz On The bin Laden Video The National Post - Canada

"...On December 12, 2001 the Pentagon released a videotape (and translation) allegedly showing Al Q'aida leader Osama bin Laden in conversation with other Arab potentates. Controversy rages about its authenticity and content. The tape doesn't prove bin Laden's guilt. Alan M.Dershowitz, a professor of law at Harvard University and an appellate lawyer..."

I found this article very interesting because I have been wondering whether it would prove guilt in a court of law. Mr. Dershowitz made an interesting statement "... No jury viewing that tape would want to acquit bin Laden, and few judges would have the courage to exclude the tape from evidence ..."

If this tape were to undergo the scrutiny of technical experts as to its' authenticity, there might be sufficient reason to actually exclude it from evidence or at least seriously downgrade it's relevence.

With present computer technology it is well proven that with off the shelf technology a good computer / video team can "place words into another persons mouth" so to speak. If anyone has any doubts about that I suggest you rent the movies Babe and Pigs In the City and watch how well the voices match the animals mouth movements. The lip sync. illusion is very convincing. If hollywood can make pigs talk on the screen with perfect syncronicity to the original actor's voices, then you can also make Bin Laden say anything you want.

The technology involved is fairly straightforward, but time-consuming. Here's a quick description. The actor doing the voice-over wears an apparatus that senses the position of the jaw, eyes, facial muscles etc. In some cases this can simply be a series of tiny white dots located on the face which are then monitored by a camera which then feeds the position information into the computer. Thus the speech and the exact facial movements are recorded together.

A video of the original speaker (Bin Laden , or the pig, dog, etc.) is then analysed and the control points for their specific physiology is mapped on to their face. By analysing views from different directions it could be possible to construct a 3 dimensional model of their facial structure in the computer. Using this information the video team can then use various sampling and morphing techniques to modify the original video so the facial movements now perfectly match the new voice-over. Once everything is re-assembled the illusion is complete. The person's facial movements are perfectly syncronized to the new voice.

The only way to determine if the video is real or has been manipulated is by a very careful analysis of the video frame by frame. Such manipulations can leave tell-tale digital artifacts that can be observed under high magnification and advanced signal analysis. However , these artifacts can be buried and obscured if you include in the final video a sufficient amount of carefully placed audio and video noise (dithering, tranfer to film, multiple re-recording etc.)

It is well within present technology to create a new voice over an existing video, if you have the money and the time. However to hide the manipulation so even the best experts can't detect it, the final product has to have sufficient noise to bury any of the artifacts. The biggest complaint about the Bin Laden video has been the grainy, noisy nature of both the video and audio. This excess noise does not prove the video to be a fake, it simply makes it impossible to determine if or to what extent it could have been "doctored".

However , there exists another tool to determine the authenticity of the video tape called voice print analysis. Some of the talented entertainers like Rich Little can do amazingly close impressions of other voices. By using voice print analysis an expert can determine very quickly the real voice from the fake. However this technique requires a clear undistorted recording. But the audio quality of the Bin Laden tape is so poor that some sections are so buried in noise as to be inaudible. A voice print analysis would likely be indeterminate as well.

If the Bin Laden tape were to be scrutinized by technical experts and their findings presented in a court of law, it would present a much different finding then the reviews presently being given by the news media. If the defense team has sufficient funds they could commission a video expert to produce a noisy video of say John Wayne saying things in a taped interview he obviously never said. It would be a very convincing demonstration.

By now the tape has already had its' effect in the court of public opinion, and that's probably all the politician's care about. The statements by Bin Laden are highly shocking, and the government has gone to great lenghts to assure us that the translation has been accurate. However, whether those statements would be allowed as irrefultable legal evidence just on the basis of one noisy video tape alone is highly debatable;all you have to do is show some clips of the movie "Babe" to the jury and it immediately sets up doubt. The technology of placing new words into another person's mouth is quite well advanced (of course politicians have already been doing that for years ...)

Hey, Jeff - First, I am no expert in anything pertinent to this conversation. HOWEVER, I am not blind or stupid. The 'person' in the tape is NOT ObL.

The nose is too short, the beard is too full and white and too high-up on the cheeks. The forehead is flatter and broader. The top of cheeks are 'mellon balls' - ObL's are a bony ridge without excess round fullness. The body seems shorter and fuller. And on and on.

All the analyses I have read are focused on the text. Why are all the physical discrepancies being given short-shrift?? Also, that conversation was not the way such participants would speak: it reads like 7th grade boys' imagination....about par with the minds that have been running our country for the last 50 years!

The whole thing could have been made by a junior high film class and gotten a C- grade. Can't someone write an analysis of the obvious lack of physical similarities for the public to "see"?? Many can "see" but far too many believe what they are told they "see." Let's help them to really LOOK.

Jeff- Doesn't it seem the bin Laden tape came up right on cue? Is the whole fake or real issue working like a charm, just as planned? It's got the west and Islam in an uproar keeping tensions high. Why does the federal government and the Coalition feel they need to "push" the tape anyway? Didn't they claim to have enough evidence to carpet bomb the entire planet, if need be, to bring the evil "one" (as in lone gunman);to justice? So why the tape? Why the need for a "smoking gun"? Could the heat be on Bush , Democrats the Coalition prompt the need for yet another distraction?

Something to consider. The FBI files on President Bush giving orders to "backoff" on bin Laden becoming public. Bush's connections with ENRON (include the Democrats). The worlds (also here in the U.S.) concerns over the legitimacy of the war on Afghanistan, and the burning question right before the tape shows up. Where is bin Laden in all this mess? How short is our attention span anyway? When talking about bin Laden and the tape, don't you think it is wise to NOT FORGET his ties to Bush and CIA?

First of all, I believe from my own exprience and after doing much research that a "one world" minded power base was behind the 9-11 attacks and all the actions which are being carried out in it's name. So, when I here about this tape I see it as yet another con. Jeff don't you you think with all their resources the New World Order could have got a couple of better actors then George Bush and bin Laden for their money?

Hello Jeff. I thought you might be interested in this.

The first thing that jumped out at me when I read the transcript is the following statement:

"we calculated in advance the number of casualties from the enemy, who would be killed based on the position of the tower. We calculated that the floors that would be hit would be three or four floors. I was the most optimistic of them all. (...inaudible...) due to my experience in this field, I was thinking that the fire from the gas in the plane would melt the iron structure of the building and collapse the area where the plane hit and all the floors above it only. This is all that we had hoped for."

Someone with a background in civil engineering could not POSSIBLY make such an uninformed statement. Simple commonsense tells us that the floors below could not POSSIBLY support the collapsed weight of three or more floors above, and "bin Laden" here says he expected ALL of the floors above to collapse without impacting those below!

Either this is Forest Gump speaking, and not bin Laden, OR, bin Laden is still on the CIA payroll and deliberately making unbelievably stupid comments simply for their emotional effect.

The Bin Laden Video Tapes

The bin Laden video released by the US Government is a poor Hollywood production which has further confirmed the doubts in the public. There are so many blunders, which can only be attributed to haste in producing 'proof' and an excuse for the mass killings in Afghanistan. The caustic and sarcastic remarks expressed throughout the world has proved that instead of assuaging the concerns of the people of the US genocide it has further added to their skepticism. The 'Bush Production' has become more of a comedy and subject of ridicule. One analyst has remarked:-

"I have viewed excerpts from the 'Smoking Gun' bin Laden video and I can't see how anyone could mistake the actor on the video for Usama bin Laden. It seems that UbL has been gulping down more than his fair share of the "food aid" that is being dropped because he is obviously carrying a few more pounds, mostly in the face, since the videos screened on Al Jazeera not long ago, reportedly recorded only a few days earlier. I seem to associate the actor on the video more with Will Smith than with UbL."

Many pertinent points have been brought out which show that the tape is a fraud. Another point I would like to bring out is that the tape shows Usama gesticulating excessively with his right hand. People know that Usama speaks in a cold deliberate slow manner and is left handed. Any such gesticulations would have been done with his left hand. I think the producer of the video failed to observe this point. If Bush and Company can come out with nothing better than this 'proof' their unjust action in Afghanistan is thoroughly exposed.

This is what Noam Chomsky means by 'Manufacturing Evidence' and it has been a poor effort by the World's 'Superpower.' Mr. Bush can go 'tell it to the marines'...

Hey Jeff...

When I first heard about "The Tape", I found it to be very, very "convenient", and astoundingly fortunate that it was discovered at all, let alone by U.S. forces (I hope those involved in it's discovery were able to play some type of lottery that day, as it was truly the luckiest day to beat all lucky days, ever!).

Not only was it found to begin with, but it provided Dubya with the "proof" he needed to show the world - the world which rallied around the U.S., asking only for evidence of his guilt. The quality (if you can even use that word to describe the tape) was also fortuitous, as it left holes you could drive a tank through, and twist at will to serve whatever purpose they wanted.

Upon hearing the news on 9/11, my first gut reaction was that it was an attack on America by the American government. It smacks so much of Operation Panty Shield/Panty Storm that Bush, Sr. drug us into 10+ years ago (scoring low in the popularity polls, deep recession...sound familiar???) that Miss Manners would drop dead of apoplexy.

So, in rides Dubya (like father, like son) ready to kick ass and take names, AND get his hands on the "budget surplus" for his military shopping spree...the one that had been denied because not all the senate and congress members suffer from missile envy. The fact that Dubya is in office at all has to make one wonder...closest presidential race in our history and the all the ballot "confusion" from a state where his brother is governor? Oh, please.

It has been said that Clinton went after So-damn Insane to divert the public's attention from getting his knob polished...what is Dubya diverting our attention from now??? I wonder what slush funds this new "War on Drugs" program are going to fund? Frightening thought, isn't it?

We were watching the Bin Laden video and we wanted to compare it to the other interviews of him. We noticed in the newest video that Bin Laden was wearing a ring on his right hand. In all of the other pictures of interviews Bin Laden had done we noticed that he never had a ring on. The ring just happened to catch our eye. If the Bin Laden in this video was a fake the people responsible for it should have done more research on his previous interviews. They should copy more than just his clothing next time. Then again, bin Laden could have just felt like putting on a ring this time.

If you listen hard enough, you will occasionally hear (just bearly) someone whispering softly, in English, to the video cameraman giving instructions on where to point his camera.

Perhaps separating and cleaning up the audio will make it more audible.

Hi Jeff - I am no expert but I compared 2 still photos from CNN of this so-called Osama confession tape with a still photo from the Osama interview with Al Jazeera.

The original Osama has a huge head compared to a small body. When I saw this footage, I noted how he looked like a giraffe.

The new Osama is not like that. He has a round head with a large body, very husky body.

The original Osama you can see has a long neck but the new Osama has a short one.

The original Osama has a head that is long and thin and the new Osama has a regular shaped head.

The new Osama has more straight eyebrows while original Osama has ones that curve downward like the McDonalds arches.

The original Osama has lines from the sides of his nose that point almost straight down to the corners of his mouth, while the new Osama has those lines but they don't point down to the corners of his mouth!

This 'new' Osama looks more like Abdul Baha than OBL! Haha.

I recall a few weeks ago hearing that Osama had many doubles around to confuse those trying to get him. Perhaps the elite used one in a Wag the Dog production. God knows Bush and his buddies badly needed some 'evidence'.

In fact it does not even sound like the arabic spoken by an arab. I wonder just how many people are falling for this deception after the "planted spy" American Taliban debacle did not have the desired effect.

Sorry America, you guys are just being absolutely stupid in believing that shrub (bush jnr). You people should take note of the words of your Ben Franklin when he stated "Those who would give up freedom for security deserve, and will get, neither."

Regarding the supposed Bin Laden video, we must ask ourselves this: Why does this video exist?

If in fact the video is authentic, then the purpose of the video can be nothing other than for Bin Laden and his group to tell the world that they were responsible for the 911 event. Otherwise -- e.g., if this video was taken without this purpose -- why only does the video context focus solely upon this implication? If this video is authentic, and it was the only video of its type discovered, then we must assume that giving the world this message was the intent of Bin Laden and his group. But why? Clearly it does not serve their interests.

Here is the inconsistency that exposes the fraud.

If instead there happened to be many of these videos found, covering altogether a broad range of subject matter Bin Laden and his group would be likely interested in (e.g., the Palestinian situation, the alledged Zionist influence over the United States, the corruption of the Saudi ruling family, etc.) then we would have to give it much more credibility. But as it stands now, with only this one tape, the pieces don't fit. As it stands it is much easier to believe that this video is a U.S. production designed for the purpose it is currently serving.

When we ask why does this video exist, we can only find this one disturbing answer.

All over the world people are shaking their heads in dismay that the U.S. Government would expect us to not see through this forced and twisted interpretation of this interview.

Here is my analysis -- I am sure similar ones will soon be flooding every forum ---

EASTMAN ANALYSIS Note that the tape as found has been REVISED for translation. Before even the first word, we see editing based on interpretation -- we see interpretive reporting rather than faithful translation of the subject matter as it was discovered.

EASTMAN ANALYSIS Note that the translators have been selective and that they tell us that they did not understand/discriminate every word spoken on the tape: ===========

ALLEGED TRANSLATION TEXT:

Shaykh: (... inaudible...) You have given us weapons, you have given us hope and we thank Allah for you. We don't want to take much of your time, but this is the arrangement of the brothers. People now are supporting us more, even those ones who did not support us in the past, support us more now. I did not want to take that much of your time. We praise Allah, we praise Allah. We came from Kabul. We were very pleased to visit. May Allah bless you both at home and the camp. We asked the driver to take us, it was a night with a full moon, thanks be to Allah. Believe me it is not in the country side. The elderly... everybody praises what you did, the great action you did, which was first and foremost by the grace of Allah. This is the guidance of Allah and the blessed fruit of jihad.

EASTMAN ANALYSIS I don't believe this. They soi-disant translators start in the middle of the tape instead of the begining of the recording and they begin with a passage in which someone is telling Osama bin Laden that "everyone praises what you did" -- no context -- leaving the average unguarded reader to presumtuously assume it is a reference events in New York CIty on September 11. ============

UBL: Thanks to Allah. What is the stand of the Mosques there (in Saudi Arabia)?

Shaykh: Honestly, they are very positive. Shaykh Al-Bahrani (phonetic) gave a good sermon in his class after the sunset prayers. It was videotaped and I was supposed to carry it with me, but unfortunately, I had to leave immediately.

UBL: The day of the events?

Shaykh: At the exact time of the attack on America, precisely at the time. He (Bahrani) gave a very impressive sermon. Thanks be to Allah for his blessings. He (Bahrani) was the first one to write at war time. I visited him twice in Al-Qasim.

EASTMAN ANALYSIS Notice OBL refers to the day of "the events" -- a passive expression -- not of "the victory" or "our victory" or even of "the deeds." This is consistent with remoteness from what happened.

Notice also that Shaykh feels it necessary to specify "at the exact time of the attack on America" which he would not need to do if the context were understood or centrally-concerned with the theme of the conversation. ============

UBL: Thanks be to Allah.

Shaykh: This is what I asked from Allah. He (Bahrani) told the youth: "You are asking for martyrdom and wonder where you should go (for martyrdom)?" Allah was inciting them to go. I asked Allah to grant me to witness the truth in front of the unjust ruler. We ask Allah to protect him and give him the martyrdom, after he issued the first fatwa. He was detained for interrogation, as you know. When he was called in and asked to sign, he told them, "don't waste my time, I have another fatwa. If you want me, I can sign both at the same time."

UBL: Thanks be to Allah.

Shaykh: His position is really very encouraging. When I paid him the first visit about a year and half ago, he asked me, "How is Shaykh Bin-Ladin?" He sends you his special regards. As far as Shaykh Sulayman 'Ulwan is concerned, he gave a beautiful fatwa, may Allah bless him. Miraculously, I heard it on the Quran radio station. It was strange because he (' Ulwan) sacrificed his position, which is equivalent to a director. It was transcribed word-by-word. The brothers listened to it in detail. I briefly heard it before the noon prayers. He (' Ulwan) said this was jihad and those people were not innocent people (World Trade Center and Pentagon victims). He swore to Allah. This was transmitted to Shaykh Sulayman Al ((' Umar)) Allah bless him.

EASTMAN ANALYSIS First we see that there is indeed the assumption that Moslems were responsible for the September 911 crashbombings -- an assumption that OBL has already told us in to other video interviews that he first learned from American media sources. This conversation is consistent with that claim throughout.

It is also clear that those in Saudi Arabia who are spoken of here naturally assumed that bin Laden was responsible for Sept 11 -- but so did Ariel Sharon and Laura Bush -- but that does not make them necessarily people who "know for sure" of complicity -- they merely assumed -- as did this man addressing students in Saudi Arabia.

Also, here they are talking about bin Laden's general support in Saudi Arabia; they are talking about attitudes toward the concept of jihad and of martyrdom--common subjects for revolutionaries -- obviously they are please to have people willing to follow and die in their cause -- but this is the same kind of talk we would expect anyway, with or without the events of September 11. And we already knew that OBL wants to overthrow the Saudi government and do violent things in support of his goals for Palestine -- but, again, nothing yet suggests they are merely assuming that it was someone with similar convictions who, without their knowledge, planned and executed the attack (as bin Laden claims in his other interviews). ===============

UBL: What about Shaykh Al-(( Rayan))?

Shaykh: Honestly, I did not meet with him. My movements were truly limited.

UBL: Allah bless you. You are welcome.

Shaykh: (Describing the trip to the meeting) They smuggled us and then I thought that we would be in different caves inside the mountains so I was surprised at the guest house and that it is very clean and comfortable. Thanks be to Allah, we also learned that this location is safe, by Allah's blessings. The place is clean and we are very comfortable.

UBL: (... Inaudible...) when people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature, they will like the strong horse. This is only one goal; those who want people to worship the lord of the people, without following that doctrine, will be following the doctrine of Muhammad, peace be upon him.

(UBL quotes several short and incomplete Hadith verses, as follows):

"I was ordered to fight the people until they say there is no god but Allah, and his prophet Muhammad."

"Some people may ask: why do you want to fight us?"

"There is an association between those who say: I believe in one god and Muhammad is his prophet, and those who don't (... inaudible...)

"Those who do not follow the true fiqh. The fiqh of Muhammad, the real fiqh. They are just accepting what is being said at face value."

EASTMAN ANALYSIS Note the translators are interpreting here, and they omit translating the word "faith" using the Arabic "fiqh" which in appearance resembles the English word "fight" --an obvious effort to alienate the reader -- these are not honest translators.

UBL: Those youth who conducted the operations did not accept any fiqh in the popular terms, but they accepted the fiqh that the prophet Muhammad brought. Those young men (... inaudible...) said in deeds, in New York and Washington, speeches that overshadowed all other speeches made everywhere else in the world. The speeches are understood by both Arabs and non-Arabs even by Chinese. It is above all the media said. Some of them said that in Holland, at one of the centers, the number of people who accepted Islam during the days that followed the operations were more than the people who accepted Islam in the last eleven years. I heard someone on Islamic radio who owns a school in America say: "We don't have time to keep up with the demands of those who are asking about Islamic books to learn about Islam."

EASTMAN ANALYSIS Here OBL refers to "the young men" -- again based on the identifications that were in the media as likely as not. He talks about the effect of the destruction of the towers on the minds of people with respect to their support of Islam and presumably of its oppostion to Israeli policy and globalization and cultural deterioration from westernization -- all of these are remarks we would expect if OBL were innocent of the plotting as much as if he were guilty.

I remember a vision by Shaykh Salih Al-(( Shuaybi)). He said: "There will be a great hit and people will go out by hundreds to Afghanistan." I asked him (Salih): "To Afghanistan?" He replied, "Yes." According to him, the only ones who stay behind will be the mentally impotent and the liars (hypocrites). I remembered his saying that hundreds of people will go out to Afghanistan. He had this vision a year ago. This event discriminated between the different types of followers.

EASTMAN ANALYSIS Here is a man who knows nothing of the details, talking about how the events of September 11 will energize their cause -- yes, certainly they are aware that those so energized assume that the crashbombing was the work of their hidden ero -- but this assumption is not of OBLs doing -- it is just an assumption that almost everyone was then making around the world, Saudi, American, Afgan, Jew and Eskimo.

NOW GET READY FOR THE BIG ONE:

UBL: (... Inaudible...) we calculated in advance the number of casualties from the enemy, who would be killed based on the position of the tower. We calculated that the floors that would be hit would be three or four floors. I was the most optimistic of them all. (... Inaudible...) due to my experience in this field, I was thinking that the fire from the gas in the plane would melt the iron structure of the building and collapse the area where the plane hit and all the floors above it only. This is all that we had hoped for.

Shaykh: Allah be praised.

EASTMAN ANALYSIS This is an amazing piece of deceit on the part of the translators. First their is a giant jump of context -- an entirely different topic and tone -- and only the word "inaudible" is given to bridge the gap.

But we know from above that the conversation had been about the effects of the television reports. WHAT THE TRANSLATORS HAVE DONE IS TAKEN A CONVERSATION OF BIN LADEN ON THE SUBJECT OF WHAT HE WAS THINKING AND GUESSING AS HE WATCHED THE NEWS ON SEPTEMBER 11 AS EVENTS WERE UNFOLDING -- AND MAKING IT SEEM THAT HE WAS DOING THIS THINKING AND GUESSING AT SOME EARLIER TIME BEFORE THE EVENTS.

THIS IS THE WHOLE OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION'S PROOF? ===============

UBL: We were at (... inaudible...) when the event took place. We had notification since the previous Thursday that the event would take place that day. We had finished our work that day and had the radio on. It was 5: 30 p. m. our time. I was sitting with Dr. Ahmad Abu-al-(( Khair)). Immediately, we heard the news that a plane had hit the World Trade Center. We turned the radio station to the news from Washington. The news continued and no mention of the attack until the end. At the end of the newscast, they reported that a plane just hit the World Trade Center.

EASTMAN ANALYSIS Here again there is resort to the fudge word "inaudible" -- again we find OBL discussing "the event" -- possibly just as well translated "it," I suspect -- without context -- the context all hidden in that fudge-box "inaudible."

Yet even this passage as mangled as it is still reveals consistency with bin Laden's claim of being innocent.

This clearly indicates that bin Laden was NOT listening to the radio before he heard the news of the attack from regular sources. The whole government base is shot to pieces by this one statement. Bin Laden wanted news and he was frustrated that the news program was not telling him of the event -- he was not prepared to get information on the event.

In short he had nothing to do with it. Q.E.D. and finis.

UBL: After a little while, they announced that another plane had hit the World Trade Center. The brothers who heard the news were overjoyed by it.

Shaykh: I listened to the news and I was sitting. We didn't... we were not thinking about anything, and all of a sudden, Allah willing, we were talking about how come we didn't have anything, and all of a sudden the news came and everyone was overjoyed and everyone until the next day, in the morning, was talking about what was happening and we stayed until four o'clock, listening to the news every time a little bit different, everyone was very joyous and saying "Allah is great," "Allah is great," "We are thankful to Allah," "Praise Allah." And I was happy for the happiness of my brothers.

EASTMAN ANALYSIS Here OBL is merely commenting on the joy that the news on the radio elicited -- yes it is callous to show joy over the misery, but it is not crime -- it is nothing that resentful and fgrustrated people do when they hear of their enemies misfortune -- but that is a far cry from commiting the act -- at least in the eyes of the law and of justice.

That day the congratulations were coming on the phone non-stop. The mother was receiving phone calls continuously. Thank Allah. Allah is great, praise be to Allah.

EASTMAN ANALYSIS One wonders about the real word translated "congratulations" -- it may merely mean shared joy -- but even if people were calling in congratulations, it is of course natural that they would assume that bin Laden was responsible -- certainly the thought of a frame-up would not occur to any of these people, not even bin Laden. =================

I live in happiness, happiness... I have not experienced, or felt, in a long time. I remember, the words of Al-Rabbani, he said they made a coalition against us in the winter with the infidels like the Turks, and others, and some other Arabs. And they surrounded us like the days... in the days of the prophet Muhammad. Exactly like what's happening right now. But he comforted his followers and said, "This is going to turn and hit them back." And it is a mercy for us. And a blessing to us. And it will bring people back. Look how wise he was. And Allah will give him blessing. And the day will come when the symbols of Islam will rise up and it will be similar to the early days of Al-Mujahedeen and Al-Ansar (similar to the early years of Islam). And victory to those who follow Allah. Finally said, if it is the same, like the old days, such as Abu Bakr and Othman and Ali and others. In these days, in our times, that it will be the greatest jihad in the history of Islam and the resistance of the wicked people.

What the Bin Ladin Tape proves

The Bin Ladin video tape finally released by the Pentagon turned out to only prove four things:

1 - That the audio quality of Bin Ladins voice was the worst of those talking on the video (?)

2 - The sound was so bad that the Arabic grammer could be heard either way i.e. "we did" or "we said" could also be heard as "they did" or "they said" etc. Which means the difference between a person being a spectator or a mastermind.

3 - Bin Ladin must be exceedingly stupid to admit in an open dinner party (this while the US air force and special forces are carpet bombing the entire country) and with kids and guests all over the place that he planned and carried out the WTC attacks while previousely declaring to the World he had nothing to do with it.

4 - If he is that stupid then there is no way a person of that level of intelligence could have pulled of the sophisticated operation Washington claims he did from the caves of Afghanistan.

Where is the "concrete" evidence they claimed to have before that is still being hidden from us??

Hi Jeff,

I just watched the alleged Osama bin Laden tape on CNN and if you listen and look closely, it is obvious that this tape is not consistent throughout.

1. There were clearly two different photographers filming the seperate segments. One was filmed with a steady hand and indicated some experience with cameras and the photographing segment of the wreckage was filmed by an inexperienced person.

2. The man that was purportedly Osama bin Laden was not. His profile did not match that of Osama. His nose was flatter than that of Osama. Take a look at past photographs and see for your self. This was a look-a-like.

3. There were filming splices present at the beginning of the second Osama segment. Watch the man on the right as he takes off his turbin by unwrapping it from his head and placing the wrapping in his lap. Then, without a supposed break in the film, in the following close up, he was wearing it nicely wrapped around his head.

4. Also, in the first segment the word "God" was used in a context that is unusual for followers of Islam. Example: when the man to Osama's right was describing his suprise as of the extent of the dvistation to the towers he used the phrase "My God".

What has been presented to the public as authentic, I believe, was not. I find it interesting that there has been little debate in the news media as to it's authenticity but not suprising. Yet. I'm sure others have observed similar inconsistencies and this particular film will be a subject of great debate I'm sure.

We really appreciate your program and web site. I'ts one of last remaining sources of impartial information left for those who are seeding the truth.

New BushLaden video: Poor production, bad lighting, LOUSY soundtrack mar amateur effort ** NOT ready for MTV

In the most-anticipated video release since the one of Madonna's live sex-change performance, BushLaden today released THEIR latest pop video to an eager world. And the world yawned.

WHAT a bomb: this rancid, laughably-amateurish number is arguably the WORST pop video EVER produced in the history of Western civilization (such as there IS any, anymore...).

Terrible production values, MISERABLY dim lighting, pathetic acting, an ABOMINABLY WRETCHED soundtrack and -- worst of all -- a HORRID lead vocal render this video an unmitigated disaster and UTTERLY un-watchable by all but the MOST brain-dead, tone-deaf heavy metal fans still surviving in in various isolated pockets worldwide.

It's true: singer Osama bin YoYo has a HORRID, croaky, intolerable and un-listenable voice that makes nails on a blackboard seem like a choir of heavenly angels; it makes Jerry Garcia seem like Luciano Pavarotti.

This clown CANNOT SING. And NEITHER, apparently, can his backup boys, Mullah Moolah and the Tally Bones. In fact, the rest of the band is TOTALLY inaudible on this tape. Although that's almost certainly a LUCKY BREAK for the listening/watching public, it IS a peculiar, and generally INEFFECTIVE, approach to music video production which should NEVER be reprised.

A massive, world-wide public relations effort by band leader dubya bush to hype the video was a TOTAL waste of money, time and effort: no matter WHAT kind of hype this item gets, NOTHING can change the fact that it's an extraordinarily lousy product to have been released by the supposedly professional BushLaden Group, and will be relegated to the ash heap of history at or beyond the speed of LIGHT itself.

Our verdict: NO beat, LOUSY vocal, HORRIBLE production values -- we give it big fat ZERO.

This clownishly un-professional piece of DRECK from BushLaden will NOT make the Top 20: it won't even make the top 10,000, and that's giving it all the benefit we can, of every doubt there is -- and there are LOTS.

BushLaden: hire some PROFESSIONAL producers next time, and oh -- TAKE SOME SINGING LESSONS!

This will NEVER, EVER show on MTV -- THANK GOD!
